Everything but especially the breakfast which was the best we had out of the 10 properties we stayed in this trip. They have a little bar open in the evening and in summer months dinner is available too. Nice little snug tv room where you can relax and chat with other guests. Outside there are a couple of hot tubs but we didn’t try them

The washroom sewers have a foul stinky smell. Probably the hotel team can look into that and create a more soothing fragrance or aroma in the room and the washrooms. Rest all was great!

Location is superb. Owner and staff are very polite and helpful. Rooms and cabins are amazing. Everything was just perfect!

Maybe the best hotel we stayed at during our two-week road trip around Iceland! The room was comfortable and spacious, the location was good, and the staff were friendly. But the two things that stood out the most were the delicious breakfast that was way better than the other hotel breakfasts we’d had, and the fact that this hotel can do your LAUNDRY! On day 8 of our trip, this was clutch! And one load was only 2500 isk, which was a deal in our eyes to be able to leave the laundry while we explored.

We stayed 2 nights on our Iceland ring road trip. Use the hotel as a base for local travel. Check in was very helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Opted for paided breakfast, which was great value with very good selections.

There was a delay in checking in because of internet problems which were soon fixed and the staff handled everything very well.

We were supposed to stay in a cottage but there had been a big snowstorm and the cottages were not available (early April). We were switched to a room at the hotel which was fine, no complaints. Nice common lounge area upstairs and also a hot tub is available for guests.

The way to the accommodation was a gravel road, there was a lot of snow on it when we left so it was a bit hard to get through there with out small car

Was under the impression I booked a different room with an outside balcony area but was not given this.

Beautiful location just outside of town. It looked very picturesque in the snow. We were early for check in, so was invited to have a coffee and relax in the lounge room which was nice and cosy showing views of the snow falling. This felt nice and welcoming from the staff. Tea and coffee making facilities in room and a nice hot shower. The hot tub and happy hour made the stay even better.

The room was really basic. Would have been fab with a tele and a fridge but for what we paid we weren’t complaining for the one night. The location made up for it.

Beautiful location. It was like a winter wonderland from the moment we arrived. Kettle in the room was great and staff were the most friendly we have encountered. The breakfast was delicious and again the best we have had. You can make waffles and it includes hot scrambled egg, sausages & beans. Plus cake.

Nice hotel located conveniently for a stop in the eastern part of the ring road. Nice rooms and very friendly staff. The use of the hot tubs was included, though we sadly did not have time for that.

Staff was so accommodating and absolutely amazing helping me find my way around the country. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable throughout my entire stay. The rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Everything was perfect

what needs urgent improvement: - the light sensor in the bathroom is very annoying. It points in the wrong direction and the only way to keep the light on is jumping in the corner of the room, which I couldn't do that while taking shower or using toilet :O Please correct this one right away, I think the omni-directional IR sensor should be fine. - I think the heater was a bit too hot, but was reluctant to complain because I was worried that it would get cold during the night ...lol so I left the window open a bit. So the heater did work very well, but would be great if there is a way that guest can adjust it for comfort.

The staff is very nice, take time to explain things to me and very helpful. The room is clean, but would be better if I could adjust the heater. Quite place, not far from town and convenient for me to visit places around Egilsstadir.

Everything friendly and helpful staff a lovey lounge to rest in free hot tub tea coffee in the room which was a good size and comfortable .. happy hour bar .. modern and very clean excellent..
