Old bed matress made our sleep a bit bad, and also there were some dust on the floor, hair etc. But overall-really nice and cosy stay!

If you prefer more secluded place it's a great choice. Great location to see Drífandi and Gluggafoss waterfalls. Very calm and cozy hotel. I was there in the off season (in the middle of March) and we were the only guests there. We had an amazing private breakfast because of that! Totally recommended.

Nice little hotel in the midst of nature. Very good location to go see some spectacular waterfalls. The rooms have everything you need and are very cozy. Big breakfast buffet is available.

Hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, what is amazing. Still reachable from the road without issue. It has hommy feeling. Space inside is really big, rustic. Personal was the big help, answering all my questions (not just about accomodation). Breakfast was simple, but tasty.

Nothing, great value for the money

Pretty remote, if you are lucky, you can spot the northern lights. Located to one hour from ViK, you can easily go and visit the waterfalls and the black sand beach. The breakfast is really good and there is plenty of food. The room was warm, with a good-sized bathroom To be noted, the rooms are a bit old style, old furniture and no toiletries, except shower gel but nothing to dislike just know what to expect

Beautiful area, very nice people, clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel has no lights to the norths except of room windows. We could see northern lights through the window. Totally reccommend

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The location was amazing far from cities and lights. We has and incident we our car and the owner himself at midnight came with the tractor to help us. That was the best!

Rooms needs a bit of modrenization and minifridge would really help, instead of kingsize bed we had two separate beds that were moving as you fliped to other side and sheets were not connected so we were falling all night..

Breakfast were absolutly perfect and personal was helpful and smiling all the time! Also the location of Hotel is really good and the overall hotel area was nicely decorated and clean:)

2 days before the arrival we were informed that restaurant will be closed when we will be there - not a big problem eventually but be aware it can happen when not so many guest will book to stay there. Nothing hot for the breakfast.

Very nice and helpful personnel. Some nice local food (mostly jams and bread) at the breakfast. Comfortable room, bed. Nice and clean. Not a problem to arrive late or check in later when possible.

I had breakfast included in the price, but I expected to have some eggs or more cheese.. The breakfast was overall good but I don’t eat meat so I would have liked to enjoy some eggs and a variety of cheese

We took this hotel a bit last minute, as we had to arrange our trip plans, and it was such an good surprise! Staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is a precious haven in the middle of beautiful landscape. Buffet for dinner and breakfast was excellent, very various and delicious. Room super spacious and bed really comfortable!

Everything haas been perfect, I think the best place where we stayed considering also guesthouse price sometimes has been more than we payed in This hotel. Magic Place, Everything is curated, break fast very delicious. I absolute recommend having dinner at restaurant! Waiters are very kind and I appreciated the philosophy of that place (sustainability scopes and goals are written on the wall) I will surely come back a second time.
