There were 2 toilets but only 1 shower, but we knew that when booking for 5 pax. Nothing to complain about really, awesome house!

Everything! The place was perfect - well stocked with all you can think about, and more! It was such a pity we were only there for one night. The host received us personally and walked us through every nook and cranny of the house and how we could get the hot tub running. Best stay of our entire trip in Iceland!

This place was amazing! The kitchen had every implement imaginable. The hot tub was so relaxing. We used the grill as well and our host refilled the gas quickly at our request. The towels were plush too. And the robes and slippers were a welcome surprise too.

This accomnodation was perfect, it has everything you may need, its beautiful, is located in a quiet area near town, and the owner was really friendly. It was by far the best price/quality apartment in which we stayed during our trip.

The property is amazing. Our host did a beautiful job restoring it. She remembered a ton of little details that really made our stay wonderful. We loved how clean and well appointed everything was. We loved the hot tub as well. This was the best place we stayed in Iceland.

This is a unique property. The house is beautiful inside and out and has absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Heiodis met us on arrival and showed us everything in the house. We had a great stay here, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, barbecuing, enjoying the hot tub and sleeping very well.

The only negative that I can possibly think of is that the hot tub, while huge with nice hot water, had no jets.

Heiðdís met us as we pulled up and gave us a tour to show us how everything worked. She is a friendly host and even lent us a muddler so we could make mint juleps. Everything about the home was well above average - the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well appointed, there was plenty of space for our group of 8 adults, and the outdoor hot tub was large and easy to use. The bathroom was huge, the shower had nice, strong pressure and no sulphur smell, and there was plenty of towels (and robes and slippers!) for everyone. The house is very conveniently located just south of downtown. I *strongly* recommend The Old Farm to anyone travelling in the Akureyri area.

It was an absolutely marvellous place. A cosy house with fully equipped kitchen - actually the whole house was fully equipped. The quality of the furniture and the equipment was really high. Beautiful and incredible design - this house has the soul. Very pleasant and engaged landlord lady.. A very good bang for the buck for Iceland. The best place we visited during our staying in Iceland. I absolutely recommend this place.

Nothing it was perfect!

What a gem, this home had it all. Spacious and completely updated, fluffy towels, and a robe and slippers for each guest. Outdoor seating area space was lovely, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Coffee bar was well stocked, they even had milk in the refrigerator for us. Can’t say enough about the owner who made ever effort to make us feel at home. Great stop on our ring road tour. My husbands only complaint was that we couldn’t stay another night!!!

Absolutely beautiful lodge! Very tastefully decorated. Loved having two bathrooms. Very nice touches like a robe and slippers. Nice washer/dryer for us to use.
