Everything was just perfect.

Owners have done the "extra" mile here. It was the most welcooming experience in a hotel/room i ever had. They had thought of every need you may have. You can find anything you want in the house with instructions, from how to make your waffles (they offer you all the ingredients there with homemade jam) to musical instruments, to turn on the hot pool so that you find it ready when you go. Highly recommened. And the best location for northern lights, we just went out of the house and we saw the magical show of northern lights above us.

We were met by the lovely host Pálína. Who showed us around and made us feel welcome and at home. She patiently answered the many questions my eight year old had. He was fascinated with all the rocks and books and was happy to have toys and games to play with. All the hotels and places we stayed at in Iceland were clean but this was the cleanest place we stayed at, with so much attention to details. We used the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches. There was one other party of 3 there and it was totally fine. Didn’t use the hot tub and sauna as we had spent the day earlier in a pool, but other party did and said it was good.

We had the whole guest house to ourselves and were amazed at all the lovely details and the lovingly designed furnishings. If we have had the choice, we would have stayed there for a few more days. We definitely want to come back to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, hot tub and sauna. Everything was perfect! We stayed for one night, and wanted to live here! We arrived in the first snow of the season to the warmest welcome. Palina our host was amazing, the house is beautiful, we used the hot tub and sauna at night in full snow conditions, and it was incredible. The waffles with homemade rhubarb jam for breakfast were a special bonus. All the little details throughout the house made it feel homely, cozy, and that a lot of care has been taken to ensure a special experience is had by the guests. There were even bathrobes for after our hot tub! She also gave us some amazing Icelandic music suggestions for the rest of our trip! We'd love to keep this place to ourselves, but it's too special to not share how great it is. The beds were really comfortable, and the house was spotless. Highly recommend!

Wonderful to be met by the host!! And received a tour of the home and how to use the hot tub, sauna and washer/dryer. PLUS there was homemade jam for our waffle!!

The host left us with a waffle mix; assorted teas, coffee, and hot chocolate; and fresh rhubarb jam. Yummy! The robes were a nice touch too. The duvet covers were beautiful. We loved the spirit of the house and enjoyed the musical instruments, especially the piano.

It is a nice , warm and cozy guesthouse. Property owners provided us all details before we arrived their guesthouse. They even got ready hot tub for us. They gave us a homemade jam for our breakfast 🧇. It was relaxing to stay at this guesthouse. Highly recommend it and we hope will come back in one day

We had an amazing stay in Tunfifill house - wish we stayed longer! As soon as you enter the house, you immediately feel like at home! It feels like this home was made with lots of love and passion. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were gifted a homemade rhubarb jam!

The most comfortable apartment we have ever stayed in. large and spacious. The apartment is polished from cleaning. Equipped down to the smallest items. Sauna and hot tub outside. All was perfect.

The host prepared the hot tub and welcome us upon arrival, as well as orientating us around the property. The pictures in the property listing does no justice to how it actually looks in reality and it exceeds our expectation. As mentioned by some of their previous guests, this was one of the best accommodation and highlight of our trip in Iceland. The property was huge, with two toilets (one with bath / shower and one only with shower), two washing machine and dryer, huge area for drying the clothes, great outdoor spaces, fully equipped kitchen and lots of space for chilling and resting. Highly recommend
