The only thing which is actually not really worth mentioning but we would change is the sofa as it is not sooooo comfortable to hang out with the whole family 😅

We loved staying in the suite, it is very well equipped and the hotpot is outstanding! Recommend to bring spikes as it was a little icy to walk around 🙂

We missing something to dry our wet clothes or towels (a towel radiator for example in the bathroom would be very nice). So that’s a -1 Also some additional plates and cutlery would be nice (1 fork, spoon, knife and plate, so you would have to clean it after every meal)

Great hut with great facilities Fully equipped kitchen (+1 for the great coffee machine, +1 for the big dishwasher) The hot tub was also very cool 😎 (especially cause we had some fresh snow in the afternoon and the evening and so we could take a cold bath directly in the snow❄️☃️), so also a ⭐️ Also we liked the used colour combinations (white and dark wood)

Impressive view, warm and comfy private house. Super host and friendly team. Bathtub with a view on Akureyri is nothing but a dream! Fantastic value for money, especially compared to some overrated places in Akureyri or Vik.

Honestly ,nothing.

Oh wow. Such a magical place. Hot tub with the view over the valley of mountains -it surely is in the top 10 of the views I have had in my whole life. We also did a snowman and my kids played with the sleigh given by the owner ,in the snow. You gotta visit it. It’s something that is worth experiencing. Clean ,great beds ,well equipped kitchen and bathroom with everything needed. Thank you so much

Facility was not clean enough - the couch was full of crumbs, there were alcohol caps outside by the hot tub, and under the bed needed a vaccuum, more focus on the cleaning would be good.

The only thing that I want to say is that there are no hangers for towels, robes or your outdoor clothes. Everything would be perfect if this would be fixed.

Favourite hotel that I stayed in during my Iceland trip. Full length glass windows with views of mountains in the distance. 2 bedroom Suite – Master bedroom and smaller room with 2 single beds. Beds were so comfortable and quilt was fluffy and warm. Suite had private soaking tub overlooking snow capped mountains 😊 There was a kitchenette and barbeque grill – it would have been lovely to have a BBQ in the midst of this beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Hotel had a good buffet breakfast spread.

Shower stall lacks door that allows for water to spray/enter other areas in the bathroom. No hooks available for hanging towels and bathing suits.

View was amazing. Quiet atmosphere. Clean. Fantastic, friendly, and accommodating staff. Staff assisted our group to find a horse back riding excursion that was excellent. Access to private hot tub. Full complimentary breakfast. Access to laundry services.
