Toilet sits what feels like about 10cm from the glass side of the shower so very awkward to use.

The location is good, only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, that takes you to the airport. Full use of the amenities at the property. The property is clean and warm.

There was no towel in my room. Otherwise would've rated 10. Apart from that, there is maybe some room for improvement in the bathroom. The shower is not the mos comfortable one.

The toilet situation was a bit cramped and the bathroom sink blasted water onto you if you accidentally turn it too far.

Upon arrival we were given the wrong code so couldn’t get the key to our room. The shower was broken and the water came out scalding, burning the skin. The staff was very unhelpful in resolving this issue, I had to constantly run cold water in the kitchen sink tap just to make the shower temperature semi bearable. Could invest in some blackout blinds, too much light.

The room was large and spacious, which seems to be a rarity for Iceland accommodation, but that’s pretty much the only redeeming feature.

Walls are thin, so you will hear people moving around. But this is not a place you rent for more than 1 night. This place is perfect for catching an early morning flight. Shared bathroom. Shower/bath needs a curtain.

There was no dish soap for us to wash our dishes. The bathtub had a lot of hair in it. The bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The strong aroma that met us as we walked into the guesthouse strongly suggests that something is being hidden. The aroma was so strong that our noses felt like burning and after a while we both started feeling allergic reactions in eyes, nose and throat.

I enjoyed it all

I got a lift to the house from a local man as my phone battery died. I entered the house and it was nice and clean. Then I went to my room and opened the door and saw a man in his boxer shorts on the bed with a woman. They were shocked as I was. But no big deal I just went to the room they were supposed to be in. After ten minutes I decided to leave the house for a walk and I ended up lost.I feel asleep in a passage for a while. I woke up cold so I walked about until I found a kebab shop and I watched two fights lol. And listen to a crazy Irish man for two hrs until I decide to go and walk to the airport. What a night

The position of the toilet made for an interesting time whenever nature called. It was unfortunately fitted too close to the shower screen which meant we were only able to sit on it sideways or with our legs folded up against the screen in a brace position. There were no black out blinds and the lights from the porch and street were very bright.

I think the host should be more polite. We make a mess but we clean up later. We come from a very far country and there is something we do not know maybe can say it pollitely. We are truly sorry if our stay in this room making the host didnt like us but atleast have a good manner when talking to us. Before leaving i said to the owner nicely and say thank but the response we got, got very good.

This is a corrected review.Sorry I stayed in Room 3.Thought it was room 1. Next to the bathroom. Too loud if guest arrive late and use shower and toilet. Basicly no sleep.

Two many people share only one bathroom. It is defined hotel but doesn’t have a simple hotel setup. It looked like an apartment, but kitchenware are not fully equipped. The worst is that owner came in during guests’ staying in night time. She was doing cleaning and talked very loudly.
