Everything went well.

We were arriving in very snowy conditions in the winter and the host cleaned the road for us. In general very hospitable persons, we made a tour to their sheep farm and our kids played around with a dog. House is very clean and location is fantastic overseeing directly the ocean.

It is a bit faraway from the town center but that is part of the overall charm. You will need a car to get around (but I guess you have one since you are touring Iceland).

Beautiful apartment with a wonderful view (if you do not mind the collection of cars and vans). Very spacious apartment with very comfortable beds, a practical bathroom with a nice shower and a very well equipped kitchen. Wifi is very decent and because you are staying on private property you can park your car right in front of the property. There is also a nice terrace with grilling facilities. (We stayed during late autumn so we couldn't use it.) Everything was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners are really sweet and speak a lot of languages (even Dutch which was a pleasant surprise)!

We stopped here for one night on our way from Akureyri to Snaefellsness. The apartment has everything for a short stay. In the morning a couple of sheep and a cat even came to visit. For more than one night it would have bothered us that all beds were in one room.

The coffee machine could be better.

lovely, well equipped and very clean apartment. Beds were extremely comfortable as was the living room. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking or preparing food.. It was a beautiful Ikea apartment, so well organized and very livable. Large picture windows in the living area opened out to a small deck and a beautiful view of the fjord.

The apartment is very comfortable with a beautiful view. Having a washing machine is great too. We loved the cats - they made themselves at home inside for the evening. Since we love cats, that worked well for us. I stead of eating out, we ran to the supermarket and picked up food to cook for dinner. It was so peaceful there that after eating out for 10 days, it was nice to stay in. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

The apartment was way too hot. It could have been our fault though for not properly using the heater.

It was so nice to have some extra space to spread out after several nights in tiny places. The location was perfect as we made our way around the ring road. The view was spectacular and the host was very nice! I also think it was the best shower we had in our 10 day trip. Huge bathroom and shower which is hard to find in Iceland!

The location is a bit off the beaten path.

Nothing, just keep in mind there is only 1 room

One of the best guest house we've stayed in all of Iceland! Very spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds. A full house that felt modern and well maintained, didn't feel cheap at all. Just next to the very nice owners' farm. Excellent remote location next to the sea with clear view on the sky to watch notrhen lights if you're lucky! Whish we could have stayed longer

There is only one problem with it: once you get in, you don't want to go out for it's too comfortable. Seriously speaking, the washing machine needs either some repair or a good instruction.

Liked it all. Be mindful that it's a few km off the main road down a gravel road, but the road was in good condition in August 2021, easily driveable with normal car. The property has a lot of old vehicles and farm equipment parked nearby, which didn't bother us, but just something to note.

Apartment is right on the side of the fjord on a farm, the views from the living room and back porch were spectacular. Hosts lived on other side of house and were friendly. We walked around their large property. Apartment itself is very modern and clean, with all amenities including full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Single bedroom accommodates four people in bunk beds and twins, plus there is a fold out couch.

Stayed for two nights. It is a very nice apartment that is clean and we'll equipped for long or short stay. Beds were comfortable. Wifi worked very well. There is a patio out the back of the apartment where we had our morning coffee and evening cocktail enjoying the views. Recommend staying at this farm stay if you are in the area.
