View of the harbour was interesting, you could see the fishing boats departing in the morning. The breakfast was good.

Perfect location in this small town. Roads to Bildudlar are really something! We felt like we were in the polar express movie on the runaway train. Make sure you aren’t tired and I would not suggest driving it at night ;)

Gorgeous guesthouse really modern bathrooms and comfy bedrooms. Kitchen facilities are great although one of the rings on the burner didn't work for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

It is truly a hidden gem. The guesthouse is located in a small village right next to the harbour. Staffs are virtually amazing and warm. Bathrooms always kept clean and dry. Lovely small kitchen for my light dinner. Breakfast comes with plenty of choices. Overall highly impressive and recommend.

Not exactly where the map shows. It is called Harbour Inn in English and on Booking.com but the building only displays the name in Icelandic so can be confusing. View across the harbour is not the most scenic but has interest.

Excellent accommodation. Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice breakfast, kitchen and not a bad ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again. Wash basin in room is a bonus.

The restaurant next door, the only restaurant in town, was closed after 5:00 for a private party. We could have ordered take out but we ate dinner in the next town over the hill.

Lovely, large room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was simple but good. Very remote area with few services but that's what we were looking for. Restaurant next door had the best fish and chips!

We booked this guesthouse because it was convenient for our itinerary, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. Our room felt fresh and new, with comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom with complimentary shampoo and body wash, and plenty of space to hang out hiking gear. There is a communal kitchenette with everything you need to make a simple supper, and a downstairs lounge with comfortable seating and tea and cookies in the evening. The standard Icelandic breakfast buffet (skyr, cereal, meat, cheese, bread, coffee, tea) also had some sweets, homemade jam and hot cocoa. We would absolutely stay here again.

A tiny inconvenience for me was having to go up to the second floor to store medicine in the fridge. A minor detail.

Good breakfast, clean, comfortable. An unexpected bonus was being able to use their laundry to wash a load of clothes.

Loved this guesthouse! Rooms were very comfortable, facilities were very clean, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and they even had coffee and cookies in the afternoon when we arrived. Would definitely recommend and come back again
