There were two small hot tubs; they were private and we didn't feel comfortable getting in when other couples were already there. We ended up walking out to check twice if they were available, and they were always full so we didn't use them.

The room was very nice, although small. The hotel was large and easy to find. The bed was very comfortable.

Duvet cover and pillow cases were a sort of ‘waffle weave’ - looked great but felt a bit rough, especially on the face, for sleeping. Smooth cotton cover would have been much better.

Bistro was welcoming and friendly with a nice causal vibe. Food was good value (for Iceland!). Buffet breakfast was good with a few hot things like bacon, scrambled egg and beans, although I prefer a continental breakfast with ham/cheese/boiled egg etc. I didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna so can’t comment. Rooms were modern and compact - peaceful environment

Pleasant hotel with many rooms. Room was comfortable, even though it was small. Hot tubs and saunas were nice. Did not eat at the restaurant, but had the free breakfast. It was a very international breakfast.

The room was very small and the shower was too tiny for my 6’1 son. The beds and linens were uncomfortable

Clean and comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff, all the facilities you need, lovely hot tubs & sauna open til midnight, beautiful viewing corridor if you're lucky enough to see the aurora, they offer a room call for aurora if you want it too, great breakfast with loads of fresh choices, and a boot cleaner machine that we loved!

Our Tv remote batteries needed to be changed as the remote did not work but we could turn on power manually- not a huge deal but wanted to let you know. I would have liked to have more toiletries like shampoo and conditioner.

The bed was very comfy, the rooms warm. The bathroom was nice with a radiator as well. The glass hallway is amazing, we managed to see the Aurora in the comfort of our hotel. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but we enjoyed it. Coffee, hot water and drinks available whenever needed. The Aurora alarm was a nice touch.

No air conditioning

Nice quiet place , perfect location for travellers. Restaurant in lobby, tasty and healthy dishes with icelandic lager. Clean room and, what important, warm inside:) No air conditioning but not needed. Outside great hot tub, splendid time relaxing after trekking. Breakfast was nice as well.

The cushions did not fit on the couch properly, making it a little tricky to sit. The glass partition on the tub/shower swings.

It was nice to have separate rooms for 2 couples. The location was great for our adventures between the golden circle and Vik. The staff was nice. Dinner was pretty good. Breakfast was included.

The bathroom window does not have a curtain and although the glass is frosted, it has a transparent line which made us uncomfortable when using the bathroom. The kettle was dirty and we couldn't use it (probably the previous guest made food in it).

The hotel is in a good location for those who have completed the golden circle and are heading to the south of the island. There is a market nearby. Have a nice breakfast.
