“We just came back home and can't wait to write about our stay: we are family with two kids (13 and 10) and all of us enjoyed the stay for almost a week. Wide rooms, big bathroom, equiped kitchen and things for small daily cleaning. Very importand was that parking the car was available in the area. Kind and smiling neighbors. We also enjoy the location - next to the center of the vilage. Just right behind the corner is great pasticceria for breakfast and after walking for 2-3 minutes more you can find gereat place for focaccia and other lokal food. Also for us we were in really good position for travel to all "must see" places from Matera to Lecce and a lot of beaches in between, but this was our desire for travel and don't forget to check the distanses if siuts you. I can recommend this place and big thanks to Antonio for the calm hospitality and specially for the sun unbrella which safe us :)”

Il Trulletto was amazing. Silvia was warm and welcoming upon our arrival and checked in on us via whatsapp about our stay without being overbearing.
The Trulleto is small, simple but perfect for two in the quiet town of Montalbano, perfectly positioned 30min drive between all the places you want to visit in this region. Best part is that the towns locals are ao very kind and welcoming.
Upon arrival Silvia took us through the property which was kind, but i must remark upon the freshly baked Crostata on the table accompanied by a basket of wallnuts & lemonchello. The PERFECT welcoming touch.
If you’re looking for a quiet authentic non touristic accommodation a stone throw away from all the tourists hot spots, this is perfect! The rooftop terrace at sunset is magical also”
