“We were given an upgrade (think it was upgraded to Junior Suite Family) which was a wonderful surprise. The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful, in fact all the staff were incredibly pleasant. The room we had was brilliant, the bathroom was very large, the water hot and had good water pressure. The bed was incredibly comfortable and for those who need a dark room for a good nights sleep, the room provides that. The lighting in the rooms was fantastic, far too often hotels are stingy with dim lighting, not here though it was fantastic. The cleaners need to commended, as the room was incredibly clean. The meal we had there was great and the breakfast has a large selection to choose from and should make everyone happy. We rarely stay in hotels but if they were as good as Emma Historic Hotel, we would stay in them more often. Would highly recommend staying at Emma Historic Hotel it is fantastic.”
