Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaMy favourite hotel so far! Facilities are great - a gym/pool as well as a rooftop bar and a restaurant on ground floor (which is where the buffet breakfast is served). Complimentary drinks in the bar fridge as well as a 1L bottle of water that they replace daily. Big comfy bed and a shower with great water pressure and is instantly hot. Even offer a laundry service that was picked up from the room at 10am and ready for me when I got back that night. Metro station a 5-10 minute walk as well as heaps of restaurants and bars in the area

Very nice modern hotel, comfortable rooms, super rooftop, very good choice for breakfast, very close to restaurants area, not far from the Cathedral

Fantastic hotel. Quiet, peaceful, located adjacent to the NAVIGLI canal. Nearby tram stops and metro station, many restaurants, pizzerias and bars. The staff is very friendly, always helpful and smiling. The rooms are very well furnished and equipped with everything necessary, clean, cleaned daily. Delicious breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves, including people suffering from gluten intolerance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel in Milan, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't have been better, just a short 10-minute walk from the metro station, with easy access to Milan Centrale via line M2. Plus, the tram stop was only 6 minutes away, offering a direct route to the iconic Duomo. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the hotel's modern design and excellent amenities. The rooftop pool and gym were definite highlights, providing the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. And let's talk about breakfast – absolutely superb, with a wide array of delicious options to start the day off right. One thing that truly set this hotel apart was the abundance of spaces for guests to relax. Whether it was lounging by the pool or finding a cozy spot in one of the common areas, there was always somewhere to unwind and recharge. And let's not forget the free minibar – a rare find in today's hotels, and greatly appreciated. It would be even better if it could be replenished daily, but the fact that it was included at all was a wonderful surprise. Finally, I have to mention the exceptional kindness of the staff. On our last day, when it was pouring rain and taxis were scarce, a staff member went above and beyond by offering me an umbrella. It's the little gestures like this that truly made my stay remarkable. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough. From its convenient location to its modern amenities and thoughtful staff, it's a five-star experience through and through. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Milan.

PolandThe area is quite noisy at night, but it must be admitted that the hotel did its best, as earplugs are provided in each room and the windows appear to be soundproof.
Great, clean and well designed hotel. It has everything you need, and at the same time it is quite intimate. Tasty, varied breakfasts. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Modern, clean, adequately sized rooms. A safe bet if you are traveling to Milan.

NorwayThe gym was bare bones. Rooms were big and very minimalistic, (but had charming tweaks). Some items looked cheap, e.g. paper cups in the bath, instant coffee, plastic floor feeling.
Great breakfast with loads of choices and innovate dishes, loved the cappuccino, friendly staff, nice gesture that they had a table with coffee, tea, juices and snacks during the day for those passing by the reception. You can go for a run along the water which means there are few traffic lights on the way.

GreeceLow sound proof at the room; you could hear noices coming from the corridor. If the bed had been placed at the other end of the room, it would make it cozier. Dissapointing breakfast, given the overall quality of the hotel. The small elevetor at the entrance was out of order, so people with disabilities would have to take the 10-15 stairs.
Amazing luxury hotel at the center of the vibrant Navigli area of Milan. All amenities and facilities just available at the hotel. The rooftop pool is out of this world.
