The hotel is very poorly lit. This is deliberate no doubt, to support the ambience, but I prefer to see where I’m walking! The light switches in our room were unfathomable! The switches rotate so you can’t tell if they are in an on/off position and they all (at least four in number) seem to control all the lights. To get the bathroom light to turn on without all the others, took us about 20 minutes one evening and after it was turned off, we couldn’t get it back on. Perhaps I’m getting old! And the bedside lights are so faint as to be useless!

The hotel is in a good location for walking to the many sites that Florence has to offer and despite its central location, was remarkably free from external noise (traffic and so on). The room was a good size with good facilities but be forewarned, the bathroom and toilet have part-frosted glass doors so make sure you share with someone you know! :-). The breakfast was very good with a wide selection but the eggs and bacon are not what you might expect in the traditional full-English version. We did not eat in the restaurant other than a lunchtime snack (which was very nice) while waiting for our bus so cannot comment on the full dinner experience. The hotel is themed but I have no idea what the theme is… it is very random! “Quirky” doesn’t really do it justice; it’s weird! We enjoyed our three night stay but it is quite expensive in my opinion.

Whimsical and modern hotel in the centre of Florence, with all the conveniences and extras that truly delighted me. Clean comfortable room, spacious shower, and a nice balcony for a morning coffee! Loved the restaurant San Paolino and cafe Alimentary. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

No shampoo and conditioner which for such an expensive hotel is odd. Hotel restaurant food was quite expensive and limited. Bed wasn’t overly comfy.

It was hard to find. In a difficult spot....there was so much road construction. Need to use real eggs (not powdered) for breakfast.

I liked the way the hotel is set up. It was very nice to look at the very interesting decor. Very accommodating that the mini bra is for free.

Breakfast could be improved a little ( beverages , bacon, ...) . but all staff is very friendly and efficient !

First of all very large and easy to enter garage !! it is a very big bonus in FIRENZA Old city center ! I have a large car and could be parked without any problem ! Hotel decoration is very Nice and Amazing.. Dante is present in all space ! Staff is very Friendly , efficient and ready to help you !!!!

Super comfortabel with a great sense of humor

We participated in the hotel’s ‘Treedom project’ which is to not have the room cleaned. Though it is a great initiative they did not resupply the room with the basics such as water, toilet paper, coffee etc. So we had to ask to be supplied in which they did super quickly but just thought it would be nice if I didn’t need to ask.

All the facilities were super great, location was accessible, comfortable room with great breakfast options, gym facilities really nice and modern. They were also super nice in gifting me some chocolate with a very thoughtful note as I was celebrating my birthday.

Nothing of note. Whilst we were there the hotel had a very well attended club night arranged and we had to fight past queues at the door to gain access after dinner elsewhere. Main gripe is that my wife wouldn’t let me join in!

Loved the informal style and location of the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and balcony onto inner courtyard was great for chilling after a busy day. Breakfast was also wide ranging and tasty. Little café built into the hotel. Lovely internal public courtyard.
