Very chic and spacious accommodation. We had room with a terrace where you can chill on a sunbed, next to the pool. For breakfast you can choose from so many delicious things it's almost overwhelming. Host was very friendly and recommend us plenty of things to do around.

Not a criticism, but we didn’t realize this property is not within walkable distance of the main part of the city.

This property is on the outskirts of town. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very attentive and helpful to arrange transportation for us. The building is unique with many artistic touches and collections of the owner.

We met Biagio, the owner. He greeted us with 2 cups of coffee, which we enjoyed. He set out a great breakfast. We enjoyed talking with us. We ate pasty that his mother made with marmalade that she also made. We ate strawberries that his father grew. He took an interest in our destination and warned us if we were crossing the Straits of Messina because there was bad weather, in general. This was a great Italian experience.

I personally like a kettle in the room, but couldn't fault the coffee bar in the lobby.

Biagio was the ideal host, very friendly. There was a great selection for breakfast. As a solo traveller it also felt very secure. In summer, I imagine this would be perfect with the lap pool off the private balcony and the sea just fown the road.

Such beautiful views of the mountains, the house was gorgeous and the host was simply amazing! He welcomed us in such a friendly way and we did feel like we were at home! Absolutely amazing, will definitely visit again if we ever come back to Italy! :)

Initially there was an issue with the room and we were asked to stay at a different - and way worse - accomodation for the same price. Luckily the staff managed to solve it and we had to stay at the different place only for one night and as an apology we got a room upgrade and a welcome present.

Extraordinary accomodation, the best I've ever stayed at! The room is cozy and the entire place is just beautiful, it was like out of a Hollywood movie (in a good way hahah). I especially recommend getting a room with a direct private access to the pool. The staff was super sweet and welcoming, Biagio was always available to suggest places to see. It was hard to leave!

Unbelivable host, beautiful and special location. The owner, Biagio Cavalliere, was very helpfull and open, giving us the recomandations about the beaches, restaurants and the history of the old beautiful city Scalea…Really nice italian breakfast…In the end, we had the feeling that we were not just tourists, but friends! P’n’T-REVIEWS: We have been on our way down the coast heading south and found this very nice road house! The communication with the very friendly host Biagio worked very well. Prior to the check in he sent us important information and planned the time for the check in. Biagio welcomed us, showed us our parking lot, brought us inside and checked with us our room. This was cozy and everything was there what was needed: double bed king size, balcony, small TV, good working aircondition but not very powerful, fridge with bottled water, separate bathroom [br] with toilet, fan, hand soap. Everything was clean and tidy. We booked a breakfast for 10€ extra per person (you can also choose a smaller italien breakfast for 5€), which was ok and the coffee was very good! We didn’t use the swimming pool area because of lack of time but the displayed photos are not the same. But it’s a nice clean pool!
