Just one comment, if you see the first photo on Booking, it will not catch your attention - in my opinion - you will not really want to book this or to see what's next but if you click to see the photos you see the beautiful room with the modern touch and that was what made me book the room. I would change the photos and show the beautiful spacious room first, to attract attention. Because it was really special. Hoping you will get more bookings!

The room was so spacious and exactly how it was shown in Booking. It had a modern touch and it was wonderful. The mattress was amazing, there was a big shower, a big bath, and a walk-in closet! Even with bath slippers and robes. We had the view of the towers, very beautiful.

The location is so strategic as to be a few moments away from the convenient Matteotti Parking garage, reachable by pathways that require no climbing of stairs, and also close to the main hub of action and social interaction in nearby Piazza Commune, which is reached by traversing a series of wide and shallow steps. The piazza is often buzzing with activity, yet this lovely apartment is tucked away from the noise. The apartment is impressive and large, offering a well equipped kitchen, large living room with views, two bathrooms and even a clothes washer. Awesome choice in Assisi!

Long flight of stairs to Rach the apartment and no lift - difficult with heavy luggage.

If you come from the wrong direction the hill can be a little tough if you have heavy luggage, but it is like that all over Assisi (not just here).

The breakfast was amazing and the host was very kind. The room was cozy and clean. Finally, it was close to the center of the city with nice restaurants and attractions.

Its nothing negative, but for those with big luggage, you will have to take long staircases to reach the property from the parking, keep it light :)

The property is cosy, clean and feels very warm. Laura was amazing, she was very helpful and heartwarming. It felt just like home away from home.

We were not on site, so needed to walk a short distance to the actual B&B. Wifi was unreliable at times.

A spacious room and a bathroom with a view that one can only dream of. The room leads onto a patio with a fantastic view where we sat and had a drink till late. The breakfast was good. The personal touch of the owner was much appreciated.

Not to say this was a dealbreaker but the uphill walk was a little inconvenient with suitcases: however this is the only negative and we survived.

The light throughout the house is a bit dim and the lights are not bright enough. #If the weather is cold, the rooms are a bit cold and damp. We went in June and had to wear a jacket to keep warm in the room !

A charming little hotel in an even more charming location. Laura is warm and welcoming, and prepared a delicious breakfast buffet that we enjoyed in the central breakfast room. Our room was clean and airy, and the bathroom was updated, though on the smaller side. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out so we could take more time to explore Assisi. Be aware that walking to the hotel from the bus stop (Assisi Link) at the city gate is all uphill (lots of stairs too) and was challenging with our luggage (it's a VERY hilly town). There is also a narrow staircase immediately when you enter the hotel.

The property was beautiful and in a scenic setting off the main square but very private. The room was amazingly clean and breakfast delicious. This was the best of 8 locations we visited on our trip in Italy.

Anyone wondering whether this is the right place for their stay in Assisi should booked immediately! Everything about La Zuppa Inglese was perfect - the room, the location and the breakfast exceeded all prior expectations. And this is without even mentioning the delightful and warm welcome we received from the property owner!
