Stairs might be bothersome to carry luggage upstairs

This was a charming small hotel within walking distance to the restaurants. Beautiful views of the lake.

parking is only nearby and the hotel rooms are in the second floor with no elevator but when doesn’t have a huge suitcase, it’s just fine since the stair way is wide and comfortable.

This little castel has all you need: great view, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs that offers a terrace and a wide breakfast buffet. The employees are very friendly and take good care of the guests. try to get a room with see view!

Our room is on the third floor with no elevator but not a big deal for us.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Nice view of the lake. Quiet yet we are close to shops and restaurants. Free parking is just outside of the gate.

We found the four staircases up to our room a bit hard going in the heat but it is in the nature of an old building like this that you won't have a lift.

Great hotel located right in the castle. Very cozy, wonderful roof terrace overlooking the lake, and there is a common living room where you can make tea and so on. Comfortable, clean, modern room, everything you need is there. Very good and tasty breakfasts. Excellent and very friendly staff. There are many bars and restaurants around, the lake is very nice. 100% Recommended!

No lift - but Staff helped carry the bag

clean and central - in the heart of Castiglione with most of the amenities within walking distance! Staff is great!there were no taxis today and the desk person drove me with his own car ( 2 KM)

The location is amazing. And the breakfast very nice and with lots of options. There is no lift, so you need to use the stairs to get to the bedroom. (about 3 floors). A very nice property, on top of an amazing restaurant, where also the breakfast is served every morning.

Everything was perfect!

The hotel was very well located, the room and the view was amazing, and above all the staff was very nice and helpful!! They book a table for all clients of the hotel in their restaurant (not mandatory to go) and lot of choices for the breakfast. I won’t hesitate to book again here!

The room was a little small for my family of four, but we were all perfectly comfortable.

This was our best stop in Tuscany. Bright and sparkling-clean room. Superb buffet breakfast in the garden overlooking the lake. In the same location, an even more excellent dinner the night before - fresh seafood from the lake. The eel was out of this world.

The steep stairs, which weren’t mentioned. Parking could be explained better. It should be mentioned in the description that there is no elevator. A light wasn’t working in the bathroom. As we entered the room, it smelled musty.

DO NOT get the €9 continental breakfast which consists of coffee, bread roll and jams which we were charged €18 for, we thought it was included in our €80 per night room but it was not and horrified we had to pay the overpriced amount. It felt like a bit of a scam !!! When we sat down we were asked for our room number ?? We were chased down the street, it was ridiculous. It really spoilt our stay very disappointing.

A nice location, a beautiful drive through the Italian countryside to get to tje hotel set in historic grounds with amazing views over the lake. A nice walk down to the lakeside and cafe. Parking was expensive via a 'pay at meter' which you have to watch. At 8am we had to renew the parking.

You have to ring a bell for the hotel to open its door, the receptionist had forgotten to bring her smile that day, no mention of 4 flights of stairs to the checkin desk, and parking according to the receptionist - exit and find white lines, ie not close to the pedestrian only street where the hotel is located

Nice hotel in a very nice village. the Garden restaurant was very nice. on the arrival to the train station we discovered there is no taxi company in the city, but the Hotel was nice and picked us up. very good service from the staff especially Christian who helped a lot with everything from pickup to reserve table and make sure we had a great stay!
