Beautiful villa in the heart of Tuscany. 40 minutes by car to Florence and 1 hour to Siena. Host is amazing. Special thanks to Mariana and her home made yougurt and apple jam. We arrived vary late at 3 at night due to flight delay and the host made us very quick check-in, thanks for it.

The only thing that could be better is the gravel access road.

The owners are a very nice people, we felt at home from the moment we arrived. We had a very tasty dinner with a beutiful sunset in the background, very romantic. The breakfast is good. And the area is gorgeous and very authentic. Great for exploring Tuscany by car. Overall 10/10.

The Hosts took a good care of us, they were very helpful and involved. We had nice chats during breakfasts, which were delicious btw. Property is surrounded with vineyards but you have to take a short walk to see them, it's worth it!

Nothing, related to the place and property. The accessing road is not really good, but it is not related to the hosts, I think it's the local authorities that should involve more in these problems, it would really help the local tourism.

First of all, the hosts, Giuseppe and Mariana, wonderful people. Then the food, breakfast or dinner, were so good, Italian breakfast, then like dining in a Tuscan family. The wine and the beer excellent, home made by the hosts. Then, of course the place, the surroundings, the room, the courtyard, in a word: everything.

We highly recommend that stay in Borgo Stella. We stayed for 14 days and used the location as a base to discover Tuscany, since is close to places like Siena, Firenze or San Gimigniano. We felt like at home. The apartment was nice and cozy, cool even in very hot days. The swimming pool has a fantastic view of the winery around. The whole place is on the sideways, so it is silent and helps you to have a proper rest. Mariana and Giuseppe are the nicest hosts you can imagine, always helpful, smiling and attentive. Food and wine is the big advantage of Borgo Stella, it delivers great quality to price ratio and honestly the Bistecca alla Fiorentina prepared by Giuseppe is master class – it is a must try. We will definitely come back next year.

We stayed 6 nights in this beautiful location with a fabulous view of the surroundings: gardens, vineyards and olive trees. Very good food cooked by the hosts, Giuseppe and Mariana, who were absolutely wonderful. Very good beer and wine, produced by the owner himself. I highly recommend it.

The best part about Borgo Stella were our hosts Giuseppe and Marianna. They were great. The room was good for a family of four. Our kids loved the pool and foosball table. It was super quiet.

The kitchen in the apartment could be a bit better equipped.

It is set in beautiful hilly countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The people are lovely and it is really easy to get to Florence. This place is simple and really to be recommended. It is a magical place.
