A bit remote. You need a car to get there. No lift but the stairs were not too bad.

Large comfortable Double room with a sitting area. Quiet at night. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Restaurant onsite and the food was great. Parking onsite as well. Would stay there again!

We couldn’t visit the osservatorio on the other side of the street, we could only see it from a distance, it looks very nice. But it is only a detail, the rest was all very nice.

Beautiful location, super nice visit and tasting of the aceto made at the property. Very nice staff and owner who gave the tour himself. Maybe a suggestion is to send information about the possibility of visiting/tasting at the moment of reservation, it is not clear if it is always offered, time etc. We were lucky to get into a tour that was already taking place on that day.

Absolutely nothing! the staff (all) were fantastic, the only constructive feedback would be the pics on the website don't do justice as to how unique and special the Cavazzone is.

Included breakfast was a little disappointing for an "agriturismo". We have stayed at several working agriturismos throughtout Italy and this property is more of a commercial hotel/wedding/events centre rather than an actual working farm stay.

Fantastic location overlooking the hills of Reggio Emilia. Historic, beautifully restored and converted farmhouse and outbuildings. Lovely gardens, a Victorian era gazebo/lookout, living-musem plaques of interest around the property, well known for their on-site balsamic vinegar production. Property offers cooking classes, vinegar tastings, event hosting upon request. Rooms furnished with period antiques blended with modern amenities and excellent wifi. Plenty of free parking on site. Dinner was excellent - house-made spinach tortelli and ragu tagliatelle. Apperatifs on the terrace overlooking the countryside was beautiful.

we were aware that we booked a room without air-conditioning during heatwave, but it advertised it had fans, while they were none. It was quite a hot night.

We did t realize the location was up on a hill, and the road was full or sharp bends. You need a car to get everywhere. But if you look for peace and quiet in beautiful country this is the place. The property has a wooded area with beautiful trails and wildlife. We were welcomed by a family of deer on our first day 🙂

Breakfast was good, lots of delicious choices. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There was not easy access to a bathroom after we went for a walk after checking out. The staff were helpful however, in letting us back in via the restaurant and giving us water for our dog.

Authentic Italian experience! Historic building, tastefully renovated with spacious bedrooms. Hilltop location, with beautiful views of surrounding countryside, yet only a few minutes from a small town. Excellent restaurant serving delicious meals, on linen tablecloths which together with the views makes it perfect for a romantic dinner for two or a larger family celebration. Child friendly with lots of open space to play. Dog friendly with numerous walks, mountain bike trails and views to enjoy. We saw herds of deer on the rolling hillsides in the evening. Interesting artifacts and photographs of the building when it operated as a frattoia. Excellent service in the restaurant and booking in at the restaurant in the evening was straightforward. Quiet bedrooms with beautiful views. Kitchenette separate to bedroom with a small lounge area in bedroom suite rooms.

It is difficult to move around if you do not have a car. I strongly recommend all tourists who come here to rent a car.

I loved the aspect of the building, the food and the view. The staff was extremely kind and helpful , always looking to make the guests feel good and welcome. We have had a great experience!

I love the venue. The staff are excellent, so professional and helpful and kind. I always feel welcome at Cavazzone and of course the food is brilliant. Beautiful setting and very relaxing.

What could have been better? We didn’t receive a very warm welcome, just told that the restaurant was closed that night, the opening hours for breakfast and shown to our room without being given any additional information about the property or location. The bed was quite hard. I think is would be a good place to stay for one night to experience the great restaurant, but not a place to stay if you are looking for a base to explore the region.

The restaurant was very good. The suite was spacious, clean, with a modern bathroom and tastefully decorated with period furniture and fittings. The breakfasts were ok - but not as good as we had expected of a agriturismo business.
