We were only for one night but appreciate the whole area. The Wineyards and the country side Are impressive. The pool super to relax. And the food as well the wines are very Good. We feel like home there. For our son it was also Perfect, as no Cars Are driving and he can Walk around how he likes. Ilaria is a super lovely hotel manager and all were very friedly. A big complement!

If I had to mention something is the language barrier that is something you face all over Italy. But I also have to admit that people were trying their best to understand and serve us

Very quiet and peaceful. Felt like you had invited few friends to your holiday house, due to peace and quiet that existed! Whatever we asked for (either extra towels or coffee or olive oil ) were provided.

The Gli Archi farm is located in the rolling hills of Poggio alla Farnia on the outskirts of Fauglia and only a short drive from Pisa. So perfect for visiting the leaning tower of Pisa. This stunning farm is surrounded by nature and boasts stunning views of the Pisan Hills. They produce 6 varieties of wine and olive oil, and the courtyards are lined with lemon trees. Their wine tastings are very popular and set in the restaurant with stunning views over the mountain range. These tastings are also open for non-guests, and I highly recommend them. We were told that there would be ‘a little bit of food’. In Italy, this means a full-blown meal! My favourite wines were the Viognier, Sangiovese and the vermouth. Fauglia is a village of medieval origins that has preserved the characteristics of a rural town. Following the destruction of the castle, which took place in 1433 at the hands of the Florentine army, the town was structured along the crest of the hill. Fauglia is known for its villas, and it is not a surprise that the Italian nobility, writers and artists loved to settle down here with the stunning views over the Pisan hills. If you are looking for a short or longer break in the area of Pisa, then I recommend staying here. It is a beautiful place and a stone’s throw away from Pisa, Livorno and Lucca, and Florence is merely an hour’s drive away. Pisa has a good train connection to Florence, so you can sit back and relax. If you don’t fancy cooking every night, the restaurant opposite the church in Fauglia comes highly recommended.

Not all facilities mentioned in the booking.com description were there. The regular organised breakfast, lunch and dinner were not possible beacause of absent staff. In the apartment there was no washing machine and the kitchen inventory was not sufficient (missing cork screw, scissors, tea towels and no salt, pepper and olive oil). All things that one can manage without, but help to make the stay more comfortable.

The staff was kind. The pool was great for the kids. The bathroom was clean and recently renovated. Airconditiong worked well. The whole area of Gli Archi is beautiful and it is a great place from which to discover Tuscany.

Second bed in the living room wasn’t that comfortable - more for the kids than for the adults.

It would be helpful to have new washing cloth in the kitchen and some basic things like garbage bags, kitchen paper towels, dishwashing liquid. Maybe if someone stays just one day and doesn't cook, it's not necessary but for longer stays it's essential.

The location is perfect, easy to reach the coast, only 30mins from Pisa, 1h from Florence. Perfect spot to stay. Calm and quiet area.

No Internet. !!!!! Was not clean. Very bad smell in the bathroom. No shampoo and no water.

We had a family trip with 4 little kids. 1. It took 20 min until someone open us the gate and let us in, there was no access through whatsap with the phone number in booking. 2. The pool wasn't clean. Lot of dead bugs in the water. We couldn't stay there more then 15 min. 3. The washing machine didnt work. On general this property didnt feel like a place we want to stay in.
