The only thing I would mention is the shower floods the whole bathroom so don't put anything on the floor and get changed in your room. Other than that everything was great.

This was a really cool place. We stayed in a little wooden cabin right beside the trout farm, so we had the sound of rushing waters outside our room. It was a cute hut, with a bathroom right outside. There was also a restaurant but we arrived late and thought it would be closed by the time we arrived, but it was still operating. We enjoyed a drink and dessert at the bar though and were even treated to free homemade blueberry grappa by the owner :-) The breakfast the next morning was simple but very good quality. We have eaten at many bnb's on this trip and they offer a lot of buffet breakfasts, but it's often cheap food. These guys however provided quality over quantity which I appreciated a lot more. Although the owners don't speak english we could communicate and I thought they were lovely. I highly rate Agriturismo's over normal bed and breakfast establishments. The location is always so much nicer and it's so much quieter. I have also enjoyed the fresh food available.

Best place in my whole life where I had excellent night sleep. Windows open, listening sound from the river coming right into my room. Bed was ok. Comforter and pillows where excellent , and better yet knowing cold temperature coming from outside, made it more cousy to be in bed, just hearing the river flow.

Rustic setting a 40 minute walk from Menaggio. Hosts were very friendly and attentive. Evening meal was a special treat, Popular with the locals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The shower doesn't have a plate or border under, and it wasn't possible to dry it properly so after 1 person took shower the whole floor of the bathroom stayed dirty and wet .

The only thing which wasn't very handy is the separate bathroom from the bungalow,so if at night you need to go,then you must walk out on the grass. It was a private bathroom but in a shared facility with the other bungalow.

At first while getting there, I was worried since it's a 20 minutes bumpy ride from Como Lake. I was asking myself where the hell I ended up. Then I was stunned by the location, such a beautiful place among the mountains, peaceful,green and dipped in the wild. We stayed in a wooden bungalow at the top back of the property and it was an amazing experience. Relaxing environment with lots of green,animals and a beautiful starry sky at night. Staff was super friendly, breakfast is basic but delicious. Also dinner (not included) was excellent.I want to do it all over again!

We had the bungalow which was very clean but basic. No air conditioning and the bathroom is on a separate building next to the bungalow. It’s NOT a shared bathroom so not to bad.

The location is out of this world. Our sat Nav and Google maps couldn’t find it but we asked the local police who directed us to the village and then asked again. The road (if you can call it a road) is a challenge but ok.

such a lovely little gem. sleeping to the sound of water and nature. Been here a few times just for the restaurant and as a hiking destination so I decided that we should share a ca bin for the night. Super clean, VERY comfortable bed and sleep.

We slept in one of the bungalows, so it was a nice experience but to use the bathroom and toilet we had to go out of the bungalow, although just few meters away on the side of the bungalow and private for our bungalow only, but the fact that we had to go during the night to use the bathroom, was a bit awkward.

All the staff were very friendly and informative especially about the place, the cultivation of the fish and the whereabouts. The food we ate that night was really good and completely home made. The place itself was literally heaven on earth.

Taxis to the location are a bit tricky but not impossible.

The vecchio was in a beautiful secluded valley on the river! The family who run the farm are really kind and friendly and made sure I felt comfortable and were able to provide gluten free options for meals! Make sure to tour the farm and see the trout ponds and gallinas! And take a hike up the trail to see some beautiful scenery and waterfalls. I will definitely come back here for a visit!

location. it was very peaceful, there was a lot of place outside to walk and it is surrounded by beautiful mountains. It had it’s own bar and restaurant which was open atleast until 11.
