Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host family was lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was substantial and delicious.

AustraliaNothing. I wish I knew more Italian so I could speak to them more.
- This is a great little farm house Run by a lovely couple that really make you feel welcome in their home. - We opted for the dinner Where are you are given the nightly home-cooked meal. This included more than enough food of Pasta, grilled fish, appetizers, dessert, wine and water, fruit. Price is €30 per person but I would highly recommend. - The breakfast is a great Sardinian Spread. Home-cooked bread desserts and jams. There is also coffee tea cold cut meats in a variety of fruit.

RomaniaVery weak light in the room and in the bathroom.
We liked the location, outside the city, quiet, free parking in the premises and with wonderful hosts. The first evening, we participated in a rich dinner, traditionally prepared by Cecilia (the owner) both for those staying in the household and for other guests.

United KingdomFabulous breakfast - lovely fruit from the garden and homemade jams and cakes. Really delicious. Rooms were so clean. Will be coming back to explore more in the area. A great place to stay if you're visiting Cabras museum for the giants of Monte Prama and a good base for Tharros too.

MaltaDue to Cecilia's and her husband's age / limitations the place lacks it's full potential.
Sinjora Cecilia, was amazing, she is an elderly person and in charge of the place. Really makes you feel at home and does her outmost to please her clients. She is the typical Italian mama. The place feels authentic, homely and welcoming. Typically Sardinian agri-turismo.

SloveniaWe haven’t decided for a dinner, based on other plans, and also based on reviews of earlier guests.
The property is run by a very friendly old couple, obviously with a remote support of their son. The farm is well maintained. Vehicles can be parked inside the property. Rooms are spacious and clean. Antique furniture is applied on top of modern framing. A bit odd, but comfortable. The breakfast was rich and as one would expect from agriturismo place. We enjoyed very tasty fresh fruits, while the home made marmalades war fabulous as well. Mokka coffee made our day. 😃 We admired the effort that the couple is putting into making guests satisfied.

PolandCecilia is an amazing host and we had a really lovely stay there - you can easily feel home. Rooms are clean and comfy, there's a parking for the guests inside the property and in the garden there's a laid back and tranquil atmosphere. Unfortunately, a part for a tasty breakfast, we didn't manage to try Cecilia's local treats as we stayed for only one day, but at least there's a reason to be back for :)

Germanynothing to complain
ahhhhh, what can I say. This older lady was fantastic. She was so friendly, italian speaking and is for me a one STAR cook. She was cooking for us a nine course dish at night, we rolled into our beds, which were so comfortable, btw. Enough space for us in the room. We were also kindly asked to pick some Kakis in the garden, if we want to. The night was quiet, parking inside safe. Will comeback next time, for sure !!! Thank you for this delicious and unforgetable food. The breakfast was fantastic, with italian sweets from the bakery, fresh and jummy. Her homemade marmelade was fantastic, I loved the oange version. kisses from us :-) We will never forget how you "fed" us on that night, hahaha !!!

BelgiumWe wanted to stop in an agriturismo last minute and we were not disappointed ! The host is super nice and very friendly. Breakfast was amazing, we enjoyed having some homemade products while chatting with the owners :) I wish there were enough people there for the host to cook dinner, I’m sure it would have been absolutely delicious !

SloveniaVery friendly host and a beautiful garden. The dinners were perfectly delicious and also the breakfast. With a lot of great italian coffee. The dinner was a bit expensive. For 2 adults and 3 children the price was about 160€. The agriturismo is located in a small town where you need a car or a bike to get around. Everything was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

AustraliaI had let the property know about my extensive food allergies prior to our arrival. Going on the great reviews about the evening meal we decided to book in. The owner couldn’t see any problems. First course - deep fried eggplant stuffed with cheese, boiled beans and zucchini. I could only eat the beans and zucchini. Second - ravioli, which I can’t eat but no alternative was offered. Third - roast pork, which I can’t eat, and potatoes. I was given two barbecued fish with nothing else. Fourth - home made pastry. Nothing for me. I was still charged the full €30.
Our room was at the back of the property and was quite large with 2 windows and a door to allow the breeze to come through. We stayed during the heatwave so this was very beneficial.

PortugalBooking says 1 euro turist tax per day and I paid 2. Breakfast was okay, nothing dancing. The garden needs some maintenance but the couple have old age and it's hard to keep it prestige.
The lady was very nice and did big effort to communicate. The room is big and very clean. The mattress and pillow very comfortable, big bathroom. Fridge in room with complimentary sparkling water.
