Everything! :) The view, the room (+ room amenities), feeling in a secluded place that was so special. I wanted also to mention the kindness of our hosts, that allowed us an early check-in + extended our check-out and the kind hearted Moreno - who helped us in a time of need! 100% recommend a stay here.

Very beautiful location surrounded by Tuscan hills and farmland. Swift and very helpful communication with the host Lucia. Another co-host, Fabiana, lives on site and speaks several languages and shares all sorts of advise and suggestions for discovering the area. The apartment was very clean and equipped with a full kitchen and a bathroom with modern appliances. Fireplace in the kitchen was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. WiFi works fine in all locations. The large garden has a nice terrace with spectacular views to hilltop castles and the Orcia river valley. Perfect place to relax.

We loved the authentic atmosphere at Il Poderuccio, the beautiful views, and the amazing staff. It’s a special place with special people. Lucia and Fabiana were super helpful with ideas for excursions and always available if we needed anything.

The very friendly welcome from Fabio & the welcome produce were really appreciated. The staff on site were very accommodating & extremely helpful, a delight to be around. we couldn’t get enough of the spectacular views of Val D’Orcia.

The rooms are not well insulated. During our 5 night stay here, multiple groups checked in and out of the rooms above or next to us and we could hear them very clearly every night. Of course, complete silence is hard to achieve at a place with multiple guests/rooms, but having to listen to somebody else's small kid screaming/crying at night really diminishes the remote, quiet experience of this otherwise astonishing farm stay. Not sure the owners can do much about this so won't hold it against them!

Stunning location in the Tuscan countryside with sweeping views over the valley and orchards. Waking up every day to this view was truly a wonderful experience. The rooms are very well-kept but still have a traditional feel to them. Very comfy and warm. The host family is also very friendly and helpful and though we didn't need much help, I would feel comfortable asking them and knowing they'd do their best to help us out. The icing on the cake was the 2 really cute, friendly cats on the property as both me and my partner are big animal lovers.

It was genuine small family run farm with stunning views of the Val D'Orcia. It came with the most friendly greeter - a cat named Luigi. Fabiana was communicative and offered several suggestions of things to do. Her wine tasting tours was our favorite and the most fun we have had. Overall it was excellent value. The nets covering the windows was a bonus so we could leave our windows open and not have to worry about mosquitoes. The Kitchen was large and clean and had everything you would need.

We had a wonderful stay! Lucia and her family were great hosts. Our apartment was very well equiped and it was cozy and very clean. The views from the terrace are stunning and give you a perfect glimpse of Tuscany. The place is well connected to beautiful towns such as Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza,Siena. If you’re fond of good wine, there are a lot of options for wine tasting. We’ve been very happy during our stay and we highly recommended it :-)

Lovely place, highly recommend if you are looking for a simple, well-equipped accommodation for your holiday located in the heard of Val d'Orcia. Away from the crowded roads, with beautiful view and super friendly hosts (Fabiana & Lucia), very welcoming, the apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we could wish for. The views from the terrace are fantastic! Be sure to try the wine tasting recommended by Fabiana. The hosts produce wine and olive oil which you can buy. The large common terrace has incredible views and makes for a great place to talk with other guests if you so desire or you can have dinner. The windows had screens so you could leave open for cool breezes. San Quirico d'Orcia is 4 km by car. There are several wineries and beautiful towns nearby too.

Loved it!

The host family are adorable and Lucia speaks great English. The views are amazing and we even had a view from our apartment. It was very clean, bed comfortable and they provided coffee, milk, candy, snacks, water, wine and beer upon arrival. The kitchen was well equipped. There is a dual shower. It’s a large apartment with a comfortable sofa and large dining table for meals and playing games. The large deck has incredible views and makes for a great place to talk with other guests if you so desire or you can have dinner. It was nice having a washing machine. The windows had screens (rare) so you could leave open for cool breezes. The little town is 12 minutes by car and has a small grocer, restaurants and the walled city. There are several wineries nearby too.

We fully enjoyed the silence at this place and the cozy room. The view from the terrace is amazing and you can also start hiking from there. There are also some cute cats to cuddle with. The room and the small kitchen were equipped with everything you need, even some food. It has been very clean and we felt like in a little mountain hut, because it was so silent that we could only hear nature outside. It’s close to a cute little village and not far away from Pienza as well. We loved it and would definitely recommend staying there! ☀️

A rural remote place with a wonderful view Fabiola and Lucia and Lucias dad and Lucias mum are brillant. Just stay one night more.
