Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe neighbours on our floor but that has nothing to do with the hotel or staff. Some people just have different attitude to mountain holiday. The staff did everything to make everyone happy
The family running this hotel is extraordinary helpful and nice. You truly feel at home with fresh baked cakes and a pleasant conversation. The proximity to the slopes is also a massive advantage - you go through the back door and down to the lift which is about 30m from the back door We had a few issues with the ski pass and skis, they helped us out every time. Even took their time to walk with us to tourism information to sort out our ski pass confusion as tourism information staff were not very fluent in English. Cannot recommend the place enough

United KingdomThe hotel does not offer evening meals. This is not a problem because there are good and affordable restaurants nearby but something of which to be aware.
The family running the hotel are exceptionally helpful and Simone is a very good ski instructor. The room is simple but clean, comfortable and in good condition with an excellent shower and lovely views. The hotel is relatively newly built/refurbished. Breakfast is basic but fresh and wholesome. Cake and tea/coffee is available in the afternoon.

IndiaThe property is non-smoking but several of the guests smoke outside on the terrace which can be intrusive if you want to keep the windows open.
This family-run B&B experience was way better than we anticipated. Parking was convenient right on the main street in front of the building. The rooms have been recently renovated and include comfortable mattresses, solid wood furniture, a desk, and extremely hot water in the shower. We had (303) located on the lower floor which included a patio door out to the terrace where we could sunbathe, meditate on the mountain, and take our breakfast and afternoon tea. The owners, Fabrizio & Simon take care of the day-to-day including a complimentary breakfast of coffee and some incredibly tasty cakes and tarts prepared by their mother. There is also a selection of nice cheeses, juices, and cereals to enjoy if you need less sugar first thing in the morning. We extended our stay a couple extra nights awaiting a parcel and stayed in their father's property two doors down with the same view and exceptional familial hospitality. They even extended the check-out for us our last day. We really enjoyed our time here and the warm welcome we received from the host family.

MaltaOne of the rooms given to our group was on in a separate annex and accessed only from outside, and the guys in it complained that the wifi was practically inexistent
Rooms were large enough, very clean, great view onto the pistes and with good wifi. The people managing the place are a lovely friendly and welcoming family and are always at hand to offer help and advice. Bathrooms were good-sized, very clean and with powerful hot showers. Breakfast was also good and varied with home made cakes available, and a coffee pod machine at hand. The Cloche chair lift is right under the hotel, so it's practically ski in-ski-out. Hotel has parking spaces reserved for clients right outside

FinlandSki storage room is good and live fire also, but as a suggestion, some warmers which would dry ski boots totally over night would be good :)
Very friendly and helpful staff, brothers who own the hotel are very helpful, they organized transport from hotel in departure morning to train station, because taxis are hard to get in the village, at least on sundays. Good breakfast, slopes nearby, rooms with terrace. All in all, very good place to stay.

The Al Foiron is a small family run hotel, the owners are very helpful and friendly. They gave us many helpful tips about the ski area and local restaurants. We loved the hot drinks and homemade cakes for afternoon tea.. The access to the ski slope above the ski lift direct from the ski lockers was really convenient

United KingdomThere is nothing I noticed I didn't like honestly
We liked everything in and around the Hotel. Very well placed right next door to the chairlift, down the road from a splendid pizzaria. As you walk into the room, you're welcomed by a tidy and clean room. The beds are so so comfortable, all you need after a day in the slopes. If that wasn't enough, the breakfast is where they really shine. Get yourself ready for the best cakes and cookies made by mamma! With a number of choice between their delicious Lavazza Coffe or juice. All very energetically and nicely presented by Fabrizio. All in all, there is no going wrong with them!

GermanyThere was nothing that we didn't like.
The brother hosts are excellent: helpful in every aspect from accommodation, through dining to being up-to-date with mountains' conditions and sport activities. They are very active themselves. We loved the stay. The room was very clean, almost new and comfortable with a peaceful view at the mountains from the balcony. The brother hosts also cared a lot about delicious breakfasts with various family-made-cakes. We were there in the summer and promised ourselves to come back also in the other seasons. It is all worth it! ... and the best start spot to ascend the monumental Mont Chaberton,

BulgariaNo restaurant available in the hotel! Breakfast served from 0730 in special hall designated for that purpose. In the same place if you have your own food, you can eat free of charge there for dinner. The closest restaurant is in the same building (another hotel), but is not accepting customers except their own guests. It is nothing to worry about – take 5 minutes walk and you will find many restaurants. Heating system night time will be stopped, but don’t worry – very good bed and hot blankets available!
A small family hotel with very friendly staff (host of the hotel). Breakfast was very good! Every day fresh croissant, several fresh baked cakes, fresh coffee and fresh juice! Just to get enough power for all day skiing! Parking was just in front of the hotel. Hotel is 50 meters from the ski lift – put your ski and slide down to the lift. Several restaurants are nearby!
