The noise from the street below and the restaurant. With the window closed it wasn't noticeable but the air-conditioner didn't work so you needed the window open.

Excellent location very close to the centre of Siena and very handy having the restaurant (which was very good), just around the corner. Breakfast was straightforward and simple but adequate for us. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

It's hard to get to the location with luggages

location is unbeatable, a few steps away from piazza del campo, nice view from the window towards the market and warm rooms.

Breakfast is bread, coffee, cheese.Drinks came out and it was clean.The room is green and comfortable.I can see the back wall of the Palace of Publico from the window I arrived early, but I could keep my luggage

Everything was perfect! General reminder for Siena, the old town is a limited access zone for cars. Use one of the many parking lots at the entrance to the old town.

Central yet quiet location with a stunning view of the Torre del Mangia. Countless restaurants within a few minutes walking time. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. The parking lot „Il Campo“ is also quite close. All in all, I highly recommend staying at „Al Mercato“ if you are planning a visti to Siena.

The shower had a lot of black mold. Shower really needed a good cleaning with bleach. Door to facilities not well marked, sign was about 6X6", easy to miss.

Breakfast was OK, very basic. Coffee was from a vending type machine. Very close to Il Campo. La Finestra restaurant, below and 15% discount was EXCELLENT (closed in middle of day)

Our room had the private bathroom that we booked across the hallway which was not very convenient. We left our bags in the restaurant as requested, when we tried to check in just before 3 but was told no we had to wait. Host was there, seemed a little unfair.

Was the best location, room was spacious. But the coffee machine wasn’t working for breakfast. Otherwise, everything great! Personnel also very nice.

Very small rooms. The air conditioner is quite noisy. No complimentary water.

Great staff! We checked in late in the evening, the keys were left for us in the box, instructions were given via WhatsApp. Good breakfast (included in the price), we were asked in advance when it would be convenient for us to have breakfast. We had a great view from the balcony. Parking is relatively close. We were given the opportunity to leave the luggage and walk around the city. Good enough for one night.
