Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWe recommend taking the local Praiano bus to get to the hotel with the luggage otherwise you will have to go up a lot of stairs (it happened to us)
The host was amazing she gave the best tips about the trekking of the path of the gods. Perfect location to start this trekking. Really good continental breakfast which is not common in Italy

United StatesIf you get a room without a view, you honestly get no view. The patio door leads out to a brick wall and you don’t have a window.
The location is this hotel is located in one of the highest points in town making the view stunning. It was such a pleasure to wake up in the morning and have espresso and breakfast with a view. The sunset from the hotel is not like when I’ve seen before. The location of the hotel is also situated by multiple bus stops, cafés, and close to the store to buy bus tickets. I loved not staying in Praiano because it had so many wonderful restaurants to offer within a 15 minute walking distance. You must be prepared though that although everything is in walking distance, you do have to walk up many steps on the way back or take the bus. Antonella and her team were so helpful in making our stay comfortable and easy. She provided us with a map of the town, bus schedules, recommendations for dinner, and showed us up to our room and give us instructions for using the facilities and provided us with a welcome drink. She was there when we needed her and never made you feel as though you couldn’t ask her a question. She was absolutely the best host we’ve ever had. Lastly, our room was very comfortable, the bed was spacious, the air conditioning worked great, and the shower is amazing. If you were trying to decide to stay here or in Positano, I would highly recommend as Positano gets way too busy and you can easily access the town by bus. We would 10/10 reccomend

United StatesMost of the restaurants were a bit far which made walking back with the steps/incline a bit difficult but the local bus was very easy to navigate and take us to the hotel whenever we needed so it wasn't bad at all.
We really enjoyed our stay here. All the staff was beyond kind and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and very well kept, right near a bus stop. Breakfast each morning in the terrace was a highlight. Antonella was super helpful in answering all our questions and had great recommendations.

United StatesNothing, it was beautiful.
Immaculately clean, beautiful hotel, very kind staff, and incredibly helpful. More than what you need and the location was great for us. Local transportation or buses and taxes are readily available (buses much cheaper and take you all the way to Positano) and walking distance to local piazza, church, mini market, and restaurants. If you want to get to the Praiano center, it’s about a 20-25 min walk down/uphill but with a scooter or car, it’s like 5-10.

AustraliaNothing. Perfect stay.
Excellent staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Hotel offered us a beer and wine on arrival, and showed us the breakfast area with access to clean drinking water (still and sparkling) 24 hours a day. The room itself is excellent, we loved the private balcony area, and enjoyed the skylights in the room. Perfect place to stay in Praiano.

The staff were wonderful and so accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend staying here on our visit to the Amalfi coast. Only regret is not staying longer!

AustraliaThis isn’t anything bad, however, the property does not offer a laundry service given it is run by Antonella and her husband. There is however a Laundromat 300m down the road
First of all, make sure you organise a private taxi service to take you to the property and do not catch a taxi from Sorrento as our guy got lost and we ended up paying a lot more than a private taxi. Once we arrived, Antonella and her husband were very hospitable and accomodating. We had book a tour to Pompeii while we stayed here and Antonella made sure our breakfast was ready and assisted us in booking a taxi as well. Warning though, this hotel is located at the top of a lot of hills so if you don’t like climbing, you may want to try somewhere else. Otherwise, there are 2 buses that drop you to the property itself. Light breakfast such at pastries, cured meat, cheese fruit and yoghurt are ready to go but the chef does ask if you would like something hot to be fixed. Given the humidity, we didn’t opt for a hit breakfast.

A fantastic owner!Since we were traveling by car, we asked her various questions multiple times before departure. She always responded quickly, patiently answered and advised us, again and again, which was touching. Upon arrival, the landlord couple stood outside the hotel to greet us and helped us carry our luggage upstairs to the room, as if welcoming their own friends. The bus stop is right at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. There's also a small supermarket where you can buy discounted tickets and fresh fruit. The sunset here is the most beautiful along the entire Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend this charming and fragrant little inn!

United StatesThis hotel is truly wonderful, and so is the staff! The views are great, the rooms are very comfortable, great wifi, tv with netflix. We also really enjoyed the breakfast options, fresh omlettes and espresso machine for delicious quality coffee! Extra points for the complimentary water machine offering still and sparkling! Another huge bonus is there is a small local bus stop right out front, very convenient to get around, and much better than the big SITA buses (avoid those if you can)! Highly recommend staying here!

United KingdomI loved the property but wouldn’t come back to this part of the world in the height of the summer. Too hot, expensive and too crowded. Next time I will come in April or September/October.
Beautiful place in a beautiful town. Antonella is a great host, very helpful. We loved walking into town in the evening and walking back up. Would highly recommend eating at Saghir’s Restaurant & Wine Bar in town. Also really enjoyed hiking up to the Path of the Gods. From Praiano it meets the path half way between Bomerano and Nocelle. It takes about an hour straight up to connect with the path. We walked Northwest towards Nocelle and then into Positano and took the bus back to Praiano.
