The location does not have an elevator, but this was communicated very clearly. So this was completely fine for us.

Nice rooms in a historic building directly at the harbor with a beautiful view of the sea from your room. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and gave us the best recommendations.

I think the property could use some better signage to help travellers find the correct door in the square

Perfect location in the main square of the property. good view of the ocean from the top floor room. We had a private bathroom which was nice, although it wasn’t connected to our room. Note that you have to walk up many flights of stairs to get up to the rooms from the square. The hosts were unbelievably nice people who chatted with us and gave us many good recommendations

Pretty small spaces, the room and the bathroom. The stairs to get there are also not the most comfortable thing.

80 steps to get up to the room! We managed fine, but be aware of you have mobility issues.

Fantastic location, great view. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. They provided recommendation for stores and restaurants, and were so nice to talk with about the hotel and history of the village.

Walls do not insulate sound very well.

Tea bags but no milk - would have been nice for the first evening when we arrived late.

Lovely view from the room (8). Very convenient location - short walk to station past shops and restaurants. Right by the sea, cafes etc. Useful having a fridge in the room. Friendly reception.

We couldn’t figure out the AC, but the temperature was still comfortable since it's only April.

The room was comfy, very centrally located in town, and the staff were quick to respond to help us check in later than their working hours.

Perfect location. It’s a room with a detached bathroom which worked just fine for us. This hotel would not work for anyone with mobility issues due to number of stairs.

Nothing. Yes, there are stairs, we knew about them, and it’s a very small price to pay for the view and location.

The view ! Wonderful stay at Albergo Barbara, walking into our room with the window overlooking the Piazza and the harbour was a dream come true. The staff were very helpful and attentive both prior to and during our visit. Cosy room, perfect location to enjoy Vernazza and as a base for Le Cinque Terre. Especially well placed to enjoy the town after and before all the day trippers.

The view from our room was amazing - overlooked the harbor! The staff was spectacular - they helped us with baggage up the floors, allowed us to store bags after we checked out, helped with repairing a suitcase. I liked the absolute quaintness of the hotel; definitely not a cookie cutter chain hotel! It was clean and cozy. When I booked, was apprehensive about an external bathroom, but honestly, it was fine - the room gets their own bathroom that can be locked on inside and out, and is only a few feet from the room.

The location is perfect! Next to the water and near the train station. Our ocean view was spectacular! Everything was clean and very comfortable. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit!
