The restaurants at the hotel were not of interest to me but there are many in the nearby towns.

The hotel is beautiful and has a wonderful location directly on the water with its own private beach. Fabulous breakfast buffet and very helpful concierge.

No late checkout and when I asked they immediately said my room was spoken for - but they forgot to ask me my room number first - which meant it was an obvious false statement as it was early in the week and the hotel was not full.

Salt pool was amazing to lounge around Hotel was walking distance to great places like Mezzatore for dinner Breakfast was the best experience I've ever had at any hotel in Italy or Europe TBH Hotel had a wide range of pool options and was a beautiful sea scenic view Huge property so it felt like you were in a private estate with very little people to bother you Picked up from the port in a Tesla - 1 of the only 2 on the island Evening staff were by far the most helpful in giving us strong local options to truly experience our time. Confusing to get to the pool the first time but after that it was definitely easier! Would have liked a couple more food options as there are only a couple in the hotel itself.

Pick-up from the ferry port was easy to book with the concierge and he was very responsive. The shuttle was about 15-20 min from the port to the hotel. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The pool was nice and quiet with staff to help with towels and umbrellas. The room was very large - we also had a balcony with a garden view that looked at the mountain on Ischia. Overall a wonderful stay and would stay again.

The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on. We were given two toppers that helped, but not really enough. They need softer mattresses.

Loved everything. Hotel staff were waiting on the dock to receive us from our boat. We were taken straight to our room without any pesky procedure in the lobby. The restaurants are delicious. We especially loved the poolside service. Swimming from the jetty is amazing. The location next to the Main Street of the town was convenient and charming.

The beach area is really unique with it's lounge chairs and thatched grass umbrellas situated on two jetties so you feel like you're on private little island, surrounded by water. Easy steps right into the water. Walking distance to restaurants or short drive. The manager treated us like royalty and as if we had stayed there multiple times.

Some tiny things, the internet didn’t work for us and the spa lighting could be friendlier. There could be a notice warning for sea urchins in the water perhaps as I had a run in with one. Maurizio was incredibly kind in assisting me however.

Loved everything about it. We loved that the hotel has kept its 50s style, it’s almost like stepping back in time and it feels glamorous in a way that more modern hotels don’t. I hope that never changes! The room was big, attractive, clean, with a stunning view of the sea and Ischia itself; the shower pressure was great. Everything was spotlessly clean and well monitored for COVID. The staff are such an asset, we especially got to know the lifeguards and bartenders who were so lovely. The concierge was so helpful in booking our return journey. The breakfast buffet and all the snacks and cocktails we had were perfect. The shuttle to and from the port was such a nice touch. Loved the piano bar, it’s decor, drinks list, old school charm, music and sense of joy.

The property is beyond outdated, it seems like everything is a mix match of all the years passed with no concern for aesthetic or design. Old materials, but not in a classic European way, I’m talking bad taste. With the prices you pay for a room you would think they could spend a bit of that money to update the place. Completely stuck in time and beyond overpriced for what you get.

It was clean and the cocktail bar staff and cocktails were great. Also had a free shuttle.

The rooms are very outdated. It truly feels like you’re stepping back in time. The bed was very firm and the in-room amenities were lacking including the old provided hair dryer and no kettle for tea or hot coffee in the morning. Only one pool was in working condition June 2023. However there was a lot of seating with the chairs that extend out to the break wall. The breakfast was sufficient but not the high quality I was expecting for the price and caliber of the property. The onsite Michelin restaurant was underwhelming and my least favorite meal on the island.

Loved the location which was central to restaurants, shopping and beach access. The hotel felt like stepping back into the 1950s. The common areas are glamorous and well-maintained as well as the outdoor gardens. The staff were phenomenal including an amazing Concierge team.. very welcoming and helpful. The team went out of their way to assist us with every request. Also, it was a wonderful surprise to receive Prosecco upon our arrival. The shuttle provided by the hotel to/from the ferry in the main port of Ischia was very convenient transportation as well as a taxi stand located adjacent to the hotel for getting around the island.
