How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bed of memory foam was a bit soft for me.
Owners super helpful, communicative, and accommodating. Small, but nicely furnished and room design with many conveniences. Really enjoyed having the coffee bar area. Location is super close to shops and attractions.

Best location, walking distance to everything, Trevi, Colosseum, Vatican etc. Fabiana and Sabina, the concierge at the hotel were wonderful and helped to make our stay in Roma a fantastic experience. We will be back. As the saying goes, all roads lead to Roma. Thanks girls.

Nothing, everything met my expectations.
The location of this hotel is great, very close to the Trevi Fountain with lovely restaurants, shops close by and the hop on / off bus just across the road. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

The room was small, and the shower was smaller.
The ladies at the reception were amazing. The service was 10/10. The best way to reach them is on WhatsApp. They responded to messages within minutes, and they were always happy to help. This place gave more of a ‘staying at grandma’s ‘ vibe, it was nice and homey

Nothing, everything was great
Everything was great, the 2 hostesses were super attentive and helpful to explain everything about rome . The place was nice and clean, always smelling fresh and also you have free coffe and biscuits. The best thing about it was the location, is super centric and a lot of nice places are reachable by foot ,one of them being the fontana di trevi. Will come back if ever visiting rome again.

It was beyond our expectation! Staff was so friendly and thoutful. They tried their best to make us comfortable. Our second day was my birthday and they celebrated it with a small cake. Free juices, cookies and coffee access was so kind. I have felt taken care of. Locaiton was perfect. The room was C L E A N, bathroom too. They even had a scale and sunscreen in the bath. I reccommend this hotel big time. Definetly will stay again.

The staff was fabulous! Sasha and Nicole were wonderful. We loved staying there. They treated us like family and were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and updated. Location was great! Easy walk to major destinations or a short walk to the train.

The hotel was in the perfect location, close to the Trevi fountain and walking distance to all the major landmarks in Rome. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted us with airport transfers, laundry and giving us helpful recommendations on where to eat.

Location was perfect, close to all the main attractions and restaurants in Rome. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they made our stay feel like we were right at home. Very clean and comfortable beds!
