Giorgio, the host, and his wife make you feel the real Italian culote. They welcome you and treat you as if you were their beloved one. The food is amazing. Do not go anywhere else to pay more for food and wine that is nos as theirs. Love them.

Georgio and his wife were amazing hosts. He picked us up from a nearby parking lot as the roads were too narrow for our vehicle. The convent is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and the food is outstanding (we had breakfast and dinner)! We would certainly stay there again!

Nothing. It was perfect.

The streets of the old section of Sarteano are very narrow, and the proprietor called us ahead of time to let us know that he would pick us up at a convenient spot to bring us up with our suitcases. The monastery is breathtaking and the rooms are grand. There are many sitting areas to enjoy and the outside garden is marvelous. A catwalk takes you to a seating area to enjoy the view. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, just very small details, like common spaces were colder, which makes sence in stone historical house.

Beautiful historical building, very well kept garden. Nice, warm heated rooms, older but good quality decoration. Good breakfast choice, sweet and savory as well. Perfectly located in sweet small town, everything in walking distance. Owned by nice elderly couple, with very little english skills, but it was not problem at all :) As a bonus the fluffiest huge towels.

The location is very central for visiting the neighbourhood. Giorgio and his wife are very friendly and make you feel at home. The village is not so touristic but is really worth visiting and having a nice cup of coffee. If you want to have a romantic and quiet trip to Italy. This is the place.

Probably best if you don't plan to drive your car to the hotel. Park in the village lot and Giorgio will happily come and get you. I'm a veteran of driving through small Italian towns but this was beyond my capabilities. This solution is easy and your car will be a 5-min walk away.

Lovely charming spot at the top of the town, but short walk to everything. Proprietors Giorgio & Chloe are so hospitable and welcoming!

Room have fans but not air conditioned. Do NOT attempt to drive your car to this location! Park in the lot at the bottom of the hill and call, Giorgio will come to retrieve you!

Great location in a +500 yr old historic building, Proprietors Giorgio and Chloe could not be more gracious. Lovely breakfast in a charming outdoor courtyard.

As an old building, little phonic insulation and slight hard mattresses which seem to be the standard here wherever we've been in Italy.

We spent a couple of nights at the convent and absolutely loved the place and the owners. Giorgio is the sweetest person, he came to pick us up from the town center where we parked our car because the streets are quite narrow to reach the place. We were made to feel at home and the food we had was very good for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are simple but just in line with the building which is surrounded by a beautiful garden and an amazing view on the surrounding countryside. Sarteano is well centered in the region allowing you to do day trips by car to Montepulciano, Sienna, Pitigliano, and the rest. Really liked it, grazie Giorgio!

Parking is basically not possible as the hotel is in the old city centre, so the very kind staff had to transport us and the luggages with his own, smaller car.

It was difficult to get there by car (extremely narrow streets on top of a hill), there was no information in the description that only small cars could fit

Very nice place as a whole, Sarteano and the surrounding area are charming; the hotel room was equipped with everything that was needed and according to the description with a nice breakfast and possibility to also eat dinner in the terrace
