The property is very isolated. Taxi’s are expensive. Without a car, you cannot get to any other sites along the Amalfi coast easily or count on spending 75 euros per trip for taxi. A shuttle up and down the mountain would have been wonderful.

The access to the parking , closed to the entrance was too narrow (2.3m). But the free parking , 130m far away was satisfied.

Getting there was a nightmare, we should have been warned about the very narrow roads. They did send a message saying the navigation sends you up a difficult road, but should accompany this with a map, as we were unable to follow their instructions

A bit “oldish” I would go back during my retirement with friends to relax but for young folks it can be a bit weird

The room decoration is quite outdated Sheets quite used (some holes) Was ok for us because not in peak season so rate was aligned with service.

Sewage smellin room. They very kindly upgraded us to a suite when there was a noise issue but the smell of sewage was very strong

The fridge in the room wasn't working, but the rest was ok. We really enjoyed our stay.

A bit far from center

Disposable plastic cups everywhere! Although we appreciated having our sheets and towels changed regularly - we just wondered a little about the environmental impact.

The location was absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have hoped for a better escape for our for day relaxing break. The views were absolutely breathtaking.

Quite busy. We absolutely loved the pool, however at times we couldn’t get a seat. Lots of children and people reserving seats with their towels etc, even when they weren’t at the pool. Some seats were ‘reserved’ with people’s belongings without people attending the pool for hours

Some of the staff in the restaurant were not very polite and the breakfast was not great.

Really liked the massage from Andrea and the Reception staff who were super helpful. The evening meal was so delicious!

The hotel is classic and has a lot of character with multiple lounge areas and superb classic furniture and decorations.

The coffee was under par, certainly given all the good espressos around.

Location was great: Close to beautiful tourist locations like Pompei and the Amalfi coast, but far away from the madness of these attractions. Great and very friendly staff. Certailnly visist the nearby (5 min walk) Abbaye!!! Ask for a tour, it's a gem!

Breakfast could be more varied to include fried or poached egg, tomatoes and bacon. Bored with scrambled egg after a few days. Restaurant too expensive. Needed an ordinary and varied menu. Ordered suckling pig and it came with no vegetables. Not many restaurants within walking distance. However, the pizza place was good value and tasty. The town Cava de Tirreni was great, restaurants open at 7pm.. But all shops closed between 1 and 5pm.

The area was very green and peaceful. Tea & Coffee making facilities in each room. Village was quaint .
