All-around wonderful stay! Elbert is a great host who makes you feel right at home. We were able to check in early, which was so convenient. The facilities are modern and clean with a microwave and fridge in your room. The daily breakfast can be served at the time of your choice and was so good each day! The location is away from all of the craziness, but an easy walk to many sites and also to Trastevere with so many good restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing - everything was great. If I had to be pressed to find something negative to say it would be that due to it being located so centrally it does get some ambient noise from the street but that didn't detract at all from our enjoyment or comfort.

Excellent and very friendly staff, the facilities were brand new and very clean. The location is just amazing within a 5-20' walk to all major sights in Rome. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

After traveling more than 24 hours, we arrived to Rome and received a warm welcome from Elbert. He had a huge smile and had already poured us some fresh orange juice which was such a nice touch. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water and we appreciated the breakfast delivered to our room every morning. The location is perfect for seeing all of Rome by foot - youre a 10 minute walk to Trastevere, 15 minute walk to the Colosseum, and a 15 minute walk to the Parthenon. We would definitely stay here again!

I liked everything!

It was spotlessly clean & Elbert was so welcoming. He has a natural way about him that makes you feel so comfortable from the very start. I didn’t catch the young chaps name who brings us the breakfast but he does a fantastic job at keeping the place clean and tidy. I loved the refreshing glass of juice on arrival too, a very nice touch.

Everything was brilliant, but the windows felt a bit fragile to open & close (it was very warm so needed some fresh air in the room).

From the minute we checked in and was offered a glass of juice (which after navigating the city to get there was a very well received). It's a lovely building, beautifully decorated property with exceptional service from the staff. The breakfast was delicious and loved having it served in the room. Great facilities within the room, comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Wonderful recommendations from the staff on where to eat, best places to visit etc. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Rome.

The hotel is located in the old building and has very gorgeous inner yard. The location is very good, in walking distance to city center sights. The room was comfortable and clean, staff was really nice. The area of the hotel is small, with not many rooms. The breakfast was good and was served to the room.

We had a really lovely stay at Kambal. Even though, we arrived really late, Elbert, the manager, took the extra mile to give us a warm welcome, and recommended us places to see and eat. During the check in we got welcome drinks. Not to mention, in the room a special gift was waiting for us. Our mornings started right with a delightful breakfast in the room. Kambal’s central location was a game-changer, allowing easy exploration of Rome's heart. We would definitely come back and recommend this hidden gem to anyone.

For a 3 nights stay, towels and sheets were not changed during cleaning. Although the breakfast was quite big in terms of quantity, the food was quite basic in terms of quality.

Amazing location of the premise, very close - walking distance - to all main sightseeing places. Great hospitality, host was very responsive to all questions/requests. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast served in the room.

The bed could be bigger. We were in a room that used to be a family room together with another one. That means that we could here some noise coming from the other bathroom during the night. I wish we could control the AC temperature on the room. Also, the amenities were very poor, the body soap was the worst ever!

Location is amazing and the staff is very nice. The size of the room was good and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Shower was amazing.

We had one of two communicating rooms, and this happened to be a rather noisy arrangement since there is only one simple door separating of the other communicating room which does not filter any noise.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kambal Luxury Suites as a place to stay in Rome. It’s so central. The modern room and bathroom were a good size and I wanted for nothing. It was spotlessly clean and an oasis of calm in the busy city. There is a charming old style lift to the first floor, if needed. The host was quite delightful and kindly organised a taxi both to and from the airport. Reasonable at 60€ for a private cab to collect.
