The owner!! The view was amazing and the homemade pastries for breakfast were very good. Close to the city center, 10 minutes by bus, 30 minutes walk or so. Will definitely go back.

Ok location with half a dozen fresh rooms, comfortable beds and good shower. Mine had a view of the river. It was the very friendly Riccardo and the amazing breakfast, all home made, which made this a unique experience.

The Alla Riva suite is carefully appointed with beautiful water features. Be sure to check out the innovative sink next to the reception desk! Everything needed for an enjoyable stay close to the river is provided. The suite was perfect. Ricardo & Silvia are very wonderful hosts. Silvia prepared an excellent buffet breakfast. They were able to provide vegan selections that were so delicious! They assisted us exploring lovely Verona, Lake Garda and beyond. There are bikes available to explore the coliseum and castles. You may relax in a quiet apartment above a short walk along the river to the castle. Soaking in the water fall faucet with bubbling hot tub was a relief after a day climbing castle steps! We planned to eat in the city of Verona, and found an incredible Vegan restaurant nearby. The g for low of soft street lights, food and people make the river walk memorable. We hope to return with our family soon!

A buzzer on the gate or door to contact the owner bc / our phone was not working. Most people would not find this a challenge , however. Also, Ricardo did everything to contact us so that we wouldn’t have this problem. There is a gate that can only be opened with a key card so once checked in, it is easy to go in and out.

Great variety and presentation of the breakfast items. Ricardo is a great host and barista and very knowledgeable about Verona. He wants you to have the best time possible and tries to make it easy for his guests. The location is beautiful overlooking the river and the balcony is pleasant. The room is very stylish, trendy and comfortable with great amenities.

Alla Riva was a perfect stay. The host, Ricardo was exceptionally gracious and welcoming. The room was lovely. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking for our car was easy. The B&B is a pleasant 20 minute walk to the old city. We only wish we had more time in Verona. Ciao

I can't say enough about the experience we had at this hotel, and it's all thanks to the exceptional friendliness of our host, Riccardo. Despite our late arrival, Riccardo made sure our check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Riccardo's recommendations for exploring Verona were great, and we were impressed by his knowledge of the city. We only wish we had more time to visit all the places he suggested. Our room was clean and stylish, and having a balcony was a nice bonus that allowed us to enjoy some fresh air and river view. It’s also worth mentioning the breakfast with a wide array of fresh pastries, juices and coffee. Meeting friendly people like Riccardo while on vacation definitely makes the experience better, and it was a pleasure to have him as our host. I’d recommend Alla Riva hotel for staying in Verona. Nothing to dislike!

Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of home made cakes, pastries, bread along with savoury items. One of the best breakfasts we've had in Italy! Private parking was a real bonus in Verona. We went to the opera in the evening the walk into Verona was lovely and we had taxi back, the owners have bikes to use if you'd prefer to use them.

This gem is a surprise. Located close to the old city, it is really a home away from home. No hustle of big hotels, just a quiet, cosy place with 7 rooms. But the best is by far the host, Riccardo - a jolly good fellow, always happy to accomodate all your needs and wishes. Breakfast is nice - all home made. Gives you a strong desire to come back next year!

Very friendly hotel owners, comfortable room, and great breakfast, which is not the regular hotel breakfast. Instead of serving the selection of a full supermarket, there are selected food in very good quality. Free parking available. Riccardo, the owner is always open for a chat and he explained us the best sightseeing spots on Verona and gave us some insider tips for the visit.
