We were woken up at 7.30 Monday morning by extremely loud banging from building work across the road, although this was not the hotels fault...

Big toom and big comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. All staff were polite and friendly. Very attractive hotel.

When we checked out we went through everything with the receptionist to make sure everything was paid for and then left only to be followed by the receptionist who sprinted after us to tell us we need to pay 3 euros more. Very petty and unprofessional seeing as we already asked multiple times and it was just 3 euros. Beds and sheets were also really uncomfortable to me personally but still good value.

Poorly soundproofed from traffic noise and from other hotel guests in neighbouring rooms. No full length mirror in the room, only to waist height, and only in the bathroom. No tea and coffee in the room.

Comfortable sized room with mini fridge. Shower in a cubicle, with good jet stream. Clean good quality sheets and towels, good WiFi and comfortable bed. Good breakfast with some gluten free items available on request.

Parking is available though a little remote from property and tight parking. but it Is available and can usually find a park space to unload in front of the property so i didn’t find it a problem. no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Close to sights in central town. friendly staff. both rooms were clean. guest toilet in lobby very clean. wheelchair accessible into property and the allocated room was excellent. opposite a supermarket buffet breakfast was very adequate. staff were very responsive to emails and in excellent English. particularly with accessibility queries. We arrived very late and though no shots were open and no coffee facilities in the room the night receptionist still went out of his way to make us coffees on a tray up to our room. lovely gesture.

I think the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, nothing major but just a few things we noticed. It didn’t ruin our stay

The only problem was that the next door neighbour had his television on all night and unfortunately, in the silence of the night, we could hear it. We mentioned it to reception the following morning and of course their reply was that they cannot do much about such problems.

All in all we had a good stay. The room was and bed were confortable and the breakfast more than satisfying. The location was perfect for our needs as we stayed most of the time in Alessandria. The shopping area was very close.

Once arrived, a woman at the reception (a new one) refused the check-in because she didn't want to accept my Passport ??? Well, l don't live in Italy since 2001and l 'm settled in London, where l work and with even a settle status. There is no reason l have to have an "identity card". Not even legal!. We disputed for a while. Incredible! Passport is an official document to travel anywhere in the world, but not in Alessandria?!? Crazy!!! Moreover, once she finally "accepted" it because ?!? She found that in their recording, trying to go into the room with my suite-case, the cleaning lady blocked me at the life exit, shouting on me "what are you doing here? You have to go away, not into the room!!!". Really crazy welcome. Everything else was fine, though.

I always come in this hotel any time l have to be in Alessandria and around. It is mostly 20 years. Great location, very clean hotel, very good restaurant. Everything always perfect, however this time ...
