We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The staff was awesome. The room was good, and the location was perfect. It was a 15-minute walk from the train station, where you could catch the train to Venice. That was very convenient. Also, the hotel has a parking lot with a lot of space.

United KingdomAmazing staff on the 24 hour reception. They arranged a shuttle from and to the airport which made the transfer stress free. 24 hour bar to make up for there not being a kettle in the room - personally, I preferred someone else making a better coffee/tea than I would have in the the room. The breakfast was lovely and extremely cheap. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The balcony with a table and chairs made a lovely addition to the room, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which made getting to and from Venice a breeze. Bus tickets are available from reception. For anyone moaning about there not being any restaurants near to the hotel, either eat when in Venice before returning or order a delivery from Just Eat, there are plenty of restaurants on there which deliver to the hotel. This hotel is much cheaper than one in the heart of Venice and it is so easy to travel to and from. The buses stop around 6pm then there is a rail service from the station 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.

ItalyNothing, I had to book the hotel the same day. My flight got canceled, so it wasn't planning to be there, but this has anything to do with the hotel, which is great!
I like the room; it is very comfortable and quiet and has everything you need. I also appreciate the staff; all the people I met were very welcoming, and they helped me so much with many things, like public transport or letting me take the coffee in my room.

SwitzerlandThe room was clean and tidy. The personal was helpful and friendly. Train station 800m walk then 1 stop to Venice main station for 1.5€. (Tickets only online). Bus stop to Venice at the front of the hotel entrance. Bus ticket from concierge 2.5€. Free parking at the hotel is also a great value. Brakfast cafe and croissant (italian b.f.) 3€ or full breakfast for 9€ is also outstanding. The room was quite and the AC temerated our room easily. We had a small fridge in our room, but I missed a teapot for hot water. It is a small thing.

The staff were amazing and woke up at 4:30 to help us with our taxi to the airport. They were also really helpful with telling us how to get to Venice.

New ZealandI didn't realise the location is a bit of a distance from the Mestre train station/central area.
The hotel is quite tidy, staff were friendly, and their breakfast (extra charge) was quite filling for weary travellers. The room we got was quite compact but had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. The shuttle service (extra charge) was also very helpful. A bus stop was right outside the hotel however we weren't able to take advantage of this as there are no buses on Sundays.

PolandThe Hotel is located close to Venice Centre. With regular bus service situated directly outside the Hotel which takes you straight into the centre of Venice. Also there is a Train Service located within 10 minute walking distance which also takes you into the Centre of Venice. The Hotel overall is very good, and the cleanliness excellent. The staff are friendly and approachable when you need advice on Venice,and any other issues that you may have during your stay. Would highly recommend the Alveri Hotel.

GreeceIt was far from the centre which we knew it was only a one night stay but transport in Venice isn’t so cheap so it was quite expensive going back and forth to the centre.
The rooms were spotless, very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly especially the overnight receptionist he was lovely!
