Maybe some kind of ventilation for the toilet would make it even better.

You can not get a better family accomodation in the very heart of Lecce. The view is amazing. The apartment has extremely high ceiling making it a perfect duplex with 2 full size double beads. The location is central, making all of the historical center of Lecce within a 5-10 minutes walk. The breakfast is provided in the caffe in the next building with the same name (using 5EUR vouchers per person), and the options to choose from are huge, both savory and sweet. The caffe staff is also extremely polite and helpful. I recommed this to anyone visiting Lecce, for a true city experience.

No elevator so you have to bring up luggage. Difficult for senior travelers. However, the person who checked us in kindly carried our heavy luggage for us.

The location was excellent, central, with views over the main square. Large room with very high ceilings and a balcony to watch the world go by. Breakfast facilitated by the Alvino cafe beneath the B&B.

The air conditioning was not that strong so with the summer heat, we would have wanted a colder room. We booked the suite with three rooms and only one small room had another portable air conditioner which helped. The bigger family room with two floors did not cool much especially if sleeping on the second floor. Parking is also a 9 minute walk from the property, so we had to walk under the heat just to get the cars.

The place is right at the plaza so everything we did was just by walking a few blocks. The rooms and bathroom were clean and our host Barbara was excellent. She communicated well and even assisted us in finding the place when we arrived at night. She was quick in answering my messages when I had questions.

Everything was perfect, very central location. Parked in parkejoo 950m and 20e per night. Correspondence was on WhatsApp and code to get in which was perfect for us. Breakfast was lovely too , typically Italian and the waiter spoke good English for us , (to explain the menu.)Lecce was fab and would definitely recommend alvino suites.

The bath tub was not working, and I could only take a shower. The towels were not very clean and fresh. No room service during my stay, even it's stated in the room instruction.

Only teabags with kettle, no coffee or milk. Wonderful Cafe/cake shop downstairs where you can get breakfast included up to 5 euros each (coffee and cake).

A really spacious room, loads of light flooding in, custom made furniture that kept all suitcases and clothes out of sight, thereby keeping the room spotless, a large balcony with a view right over the Roman amphitheatre, everything within a few minutes walk. Truly superb, and helpful and discreet staff (no reception, just a keycode, spoke on the phone and then via whatsapp, invoice sent via email, no fuss)

The parking was a little further than expected

Excellent location right in the center with direct views of the amphitheater ! Room was unbelievably clean, absolutely spotless and quiet. We stayed there on a Saturday night and the festivities outside the window were very loud with the doors to the balcony open, but everything went quiet once the doors were closed! Only drawback is street parking is hard to find so we parked our car in a lot about a 10 minute walk from the Hotel.

very odd arrival experience. it was completely by accident that we saw a member of staff. it wasn’t until the next day that I received the what’s app messages with entry code so we could have been completely stuck with the faceless check in.

The wifi was spotty. Also our door lock appeared to be broken and we had to wait each time we left to make sure it would lock properly and tested it. Sometimes the door would pop open if we tested it too quickly.

The air conditioning needs updating the room was so hot even with both units on.

Breakfast was beautiful but the 5 euros each wasn't anywhere near enough for wht we had. The room was situated in an amazing place overlooking a Roman amphitheatre.

While staff were fine there was a lack of personal touch with everything being done remotely. Breakfast was a 5 Euro voucher which wouldn’t have covered the most basic breakfast.

-The first/original room we had was extremely small and the AC and WiFi did not work -Housekeeping came into our room even though we had the do not disturb sign hanging on our door

Host was very nice and responsive. When our AC & WiFi didn't work on our first night, she let us switch rooms the next morning and did not charge us for that first night. The room we were moved to was very spacious and comfortable.
