The buses in the area aren't the most reliable. There is a local scooter rental service available, but make sure you ring in advance to make sure you can get a scooter. Otherwise, if you plan to travel into Amalfi or to Positano, for example, you may need to get a taxi, which won't be cheap. This isn't a major issue, just something you may want to plan in advance. Note that a local resident of the area did mention to us that there might be new bus routes introduced to the area, but we can't be certain of exactly when that might be happening.

The first thing we noticed upon arriving in the area was how peaceful it was, and how beautiful the location was. When we entered our room, we were speechless. It was everything we could have wanted, and more. An open-plan space with a large, comfortable bed, leading into the living area and out onto the balcony where we had the most stunning view of the sea. The host, Luigi, was amazing. He was incredibly helpful with any questions we had, he ordered the shuttle to the private beach for us when we asked, and he also arranged for a taxi to bring us to Naples airport on our last day. He brought us a beautiful breakfast every morning at the time of our choosing and laid it out on our balcony table for us. On our final day, he even brought us breakfast at an earlier time than the standard hours to accommodate our early exit. We could not have asked for a more warm and welcoming host. The residence is located in a lovely, peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activity you would find in the centre of Amalfi. Nearby are two of the nicest restaurants we have ever eaten at, La Piazza da Nino - Trattoria Pizzeria, and Le Bontà del Capo. I highly recommend the Amalfi Residence to anyone wishing to visit the Amalfi Coast - especially those who want a more peaceful, less touristy getaway.

If you don't have a car and don't like hills then it might be a bit hard to get around. There is a local shuttle that can take you up the hill a few times a day, and a local bus which can take you to the different towns. But it was worth it for the view and overall stay. We absolutely loved our time here.

Amalfi residence was absolutely stunning and peaceful, the view from our balcony was absolutely unbelievable, and the owners were super helpful and friendly. Felt like we were in a dream! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Luiggi was great...so helpful, a gentleman. The view is breathtaking , you are on paradise. We got a room with a sea view ( a balcony and a side garden with poltronas, a shower., a small table, four chairs). Breakfast out of this world...Luiggi was bringing it each morning (fresh coffee, capucchino, pastries, cereals, a full tray.. 🤩🤩. We are coming back...awesome experience in the Amalfi Coast

the location is not near the tourist attractions so be prepared to travel, but it is easy to do so and Luigi helped with this.

The location is a bit far from anything touristy. which makes it very calm and quiet, but if you want to be on the go then it requieres a bus rides or ferry ride to get around depending where you want to go. As well as a lot of walking, which can be a bit of a challenge with the narrow streets. Just something to keep in mind.

We were too much amazed by everything as to ever think of something that was not alright. If,however, you happen to be a very sensitive person, then maybe the slightly thin walls might disturb you - we did not hear much, since there was only 1 room beside us, but one evening I could hear the neighbors laugh. We didn't think much of it since we went there for a good time (and we found it!) and we were too tired to be bothered by something this small!

We were 4 sisters split into 2 girls in 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms have an amazing separation into bathroom - bed/closet - livingroom with sofa/table+chairs and kitchen - balcony. for those who like to watch tv, there are 2 of them (livingroom, bedroom)! however, we enjoyed the wonderful view to the see, it was magnificient. The breakfast was a highlight, each morning we have a great tablet of all possible choices. Every day, the rooms were cleaned meticulously, all the used towels changed and the beds made. It was super welcoming and inviting after a long day at the beach or in the near-by cities of the amalfi coast. many thanks to the cleaning lady! The residence is placed at a calm road, it is safe (important for girls in their 20s) and all the people were super familiar and friendly, full of joy and warmth! To go to the beach, Luigi, the landlord, orginized a taxi that would drive us to the nearby private beach Capo di Conca, every day we wanted (we informed him the day before what time etc.). There are also buses and ferries that can bring you to places like Amalfi, Positano, or even Capri (we highly recommend the boat tour!!!) There are a few restaurants close by, but if you rent a car, you can surely go further. We usually dined at the "Le Bonta del Capo" - The whole team of the restaurant is super friendly, and the chef is talented and will spoil you with fresh and delicious dishes every day! Overall, Luigi was very welcoming, talkative, positive and super flexible. Together with his wife, they run this beautiful BnB and make sure you experience a vacation you will never forget! We sure had an amazing time and will think of Conca dei Marini whenever we hear about Italy! Grazie mille!

Location can’t be beat. Our place was huge. We really enjoyed sitting out on our private terrace enjoying the quiet ocean. A really good restaurant was walking distance. Our hosts were so friendly and very accommodating. All the nice touches. Plenty of towels and soap. Everything you need is provided. Will definitely stay here again.

There were 64 stairs to go up and down. In average 25 to 30 cm high. The street is very narrow. Luigi will serve the breakfast in the room as there is no common breakfast area.
