Location is great, and the room with very small balcony view of Manarola and Sea are special. Breakfast is self serve in the room. Appreciate the complimentary bottle of wine and water. Traveling by car, and having access to parking was key. Located a short distance to the trail entrance to Volastra-Manarola.

The town is a challenge to get to as it’s on a hill up from the train that takes you everywhere, but it’s worth the extra effort if you like waking up to church bells and a rooster crowing in a romantic little village.

We were treated like family, picked up at the train station, and made to feel to at home. The room was very charming in a decorated theme with an amazing ocean view. Lots of treats and all the comforts of a boutique hotel.

There is absolutely nothing that the proprietor of this establishment hasn’t thought of to make your stay not only comfortable but exceptional. There was wine to welcome us, there was a clothing steamer, if we needed it, hairdryer, snacks, everything someone can imagine. She has done an exceptional job with this room. We cannot recommend the stone room enough! We changed from the wine room to the stone room so that we had a balcony, which she was accommodating to us to do.

Everything! Amare il Mare is absolutely perfect in every single way imaginable. We only booked one night, which was a shame; we really should have booked for longer! The view, the room, the amenities, the hosts... everything exceeded our expectations. What a beauty of a spot!

Extra touches with a welcome gift, snack, bottle of Prosecco, and a nice spread of breakfast foods and coffee. Was amazing. The owner and her daughter were amazing hosts. In fact, we made a mistake and left our passports in the safe and didn't realize until we reached La Spezia. They offered to drive them out to us and meet us instead of us having to take drive back and gather them. This was an amazing and greatly appreciated gracious favour. We would recommend this property to anyone!!

The view is amazing as it blocks Manarola in the window frame. The design of the “Wine Room” we stayed in is on point. There is a Nespresso machine. Lots of treats (fresh focaccia/mini pizzas) and a toaster oven. A bottle of wine! A great folder that is informative. One of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in after 6 months of full time travel using AirBnB and booking.com and hostels. Great haven if you’re doing the hiking or touring in Cinque Terre.

Bed could be a little more comfortable.

Small room but equipped with almost everything you could want. Coffee maker, coffee/tea, water, snacks and a welcome pizza and bottle of wine all included. Enjoyed sitting on the little terrace with a view over the sea for morning coffee and evening wine. Cinzia was a very friendly host and obviously takes pride in providing an excellent room and service.

There wasn’t anything negative. Just make sure you are physically able hike up or take the bus.

We loved the location and view from our window. It was right on the trail to hike to Vernazza. It was close to restaurant, had parking, and everything about this room was perfect! They put thought and detail in everything! It was the perfect stay. The hike up from the train station is a lot so you definitely need to be able to do that. We would stay here again next time we come to Cinque Terre!

BLOWN away by how amazing this property is. From start to finish we were so grateful to have found this property for our stay. Cinzia picked us up from the train station and made sure we had everything we needed. She also left wine and some delicious pizza for us on arrival. We stayed in the Starfish room which has a mini kitchen and a private, spacious terrace with the most incredible view. The room itself has a very comfortable bed & good sized bathroom - and air conditioning!! We truly had everything we needed for our stay. Perfectly located in Corniglia and just steps away from the train, shops, and marina for swimming. Cannot recommend this enough & cannot wait to come back! Grazie mille!!

Everything about the property and the owners is lovely. I would just note that there is lots of stairs in Corniglia, so packing light.

We stayed in the Starfish Room, there was plenty of space, a nice kitchenette, renovated bathroom, and the porch overlooking the ocean is outstanding! The thing that really sets Amare apart is the owners hospitality. Whether it be the offer to pick us up from train station with luggage (lots of stairs in Corniglia - pack light), the basket of food goodies, or the little personal amenity bags - it made it an extra special experience.

Our stay was just perfect :-)

We liked everything since we arrived. The property has very nice terrace with beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with snacks, bottle of wine, water, coffee... The same in the bathroom. The host Cinzia and Roberto are very nice and polite people, cleaned the apartment every day. Big plus for us was parking place. It is a perfect location in Corniglia.

You will have to go up lots of stairs leaving the train station or else take an easy 5 min shuttle to the town from the train station. This did not cause a problem for us at all but something to consider if you have lots of luggage (and this applies to the whole town of Corniglia not just this place)

The house was more than well-equipped! We had everything we needed on arrival for welcome drinks, coffee, and small breakfasts in the room. Because it is in the center of the central town it was easy to access the whole area but was quieter than the other towns due to its being a bit higher/further away from the train station. Our hostess was extremely helpful/accommodating/accessible. The AC works GREAT (we were there in August) and the balcony is breathtaking!
