Fantastic apartment right in the centre of Catania. The room had everything that you need, including air-conditioning. Annalisa was exceptionally helpful from the day of arrival, providing ideas for where to visit and dinner. She was also very helpful with any questions we had. Lovely place, highly recommended.

The shower was very tiny and uncomfortable . Not suitable for people that cannot climb three stores with the luggage

The apartment is located in the very centre of Catania so everything is within a walking distance. The room is very spacious and clean. We appreciated the friendly staff who was very kind and helpful. The double window helps to soundproof the street noise

We had self catering accommodation within this B&B, which is located in an old Palazzo. It has original features and lots of character. The hostess is wonderfully efficient and welcoming. We had an excellent stay and I thoroughly recommend it.

Location is perfect, just a minute away from the Duomo square. Although in the heart of the city the place is quiet and not noisy. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.

Being so central means you run some risk of local noise from bars and restaurants however with the doors closed the noise was remarkably well suppressed

The bedroom space is not very isolated, you can hear people in next rooms very good. It can get a bit loud if people in apartment next door are loud, especially at night time.

Our host Carmelo was very helpful with organisation of transportation and Etna tour, he also gave us some good reataurant advices. Location is great, very close to Via Etnea.

Fabulous central location in Catania. Great communication re check-in when our flights were delayed and we were able to leave our bags until our airport transfer on check-out. The breakfast at a nearby cafe was included in the price.

The air conditioner was not really strong enough. But that didn’t bother us because we also had a fan which was enough. But I can imagine that during hotter days that should be mentioned. There was a little bit of mold in the shower. Maybe that should be cleaned a little bit more thoroughly. Also, I don’t know if it was only my impression but I had the feeling that our toilet did not get cleaned during our 1 week stay. But the room and the towels were clean.

Carmelo was very nice! He gave us a lot of useful information and suggestions, and he explained us everything. The location is very central, about 1-2 min away from Piazza dell‘Università. The beds were rather hard but I enjoyed it. My friend, on the other side, likes softer beds. The rooms were tidy.

A few flights of stairs to get up to the B&B. Aircon wasn't overly strong.

Friendly and helpful host. Lots of space in the room and awesome location. Even though you were in the middle of all the action once you closed the windows you couldn't hear a thing.

The only thing would be a lift but you have to be realistic in an old building.

Fantastic location near the historic fish market and all the fantastic restaurants but close to all the amenities of Cantania. The lady that welcomed us couldn’t do enough to welcome us and it was great that you could leave your bags on the day that you depart. All very organised and would definitely return and recommend.

I would add pegs in the bathroom for the towels. The two that exists are hidden and my wife failed to find them. :)

The location of the apartment is in the real center. But be ready to go to the second floor without elevator, if you have heavy luggage it might be a small trouble for you. Apartment is suitable for 6 persons according to the number of the beds. :). 3 upstairs and 2 downstairs (one is double). The owner is very nice. He sent all the instructions and also met us personally and showed all the facilities. The breakfast is served in the cafeteria 3 minutes walk form the apartment. It is standard for Italy: Juice, coffee and some pastry. Apartment has air condition but not very strong and it hardly can give coolness to the upper lair of the apartment at the same time its location is good and nobody would have running nose in the morning :)). I can recommend this apartment for a short stay for students or for families without very high expectations.
