Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandNothing, everything was fine!
I highly recommend this apartment. It's very comfy and very clean. Exept the apartment we could use the dinning room (common for every room) and well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed the stay. The owner - Claudio is very nice and helpful. The location is very quiet and you can rest after long day of sightseeing. There is a supermarket nearby, where you can buy everything you need. It is well connected to the city center. You can easily and quickly get to all the most important places in Rome.

GermanyNever met anyone of the staff, but when i had questions they responded immideatly and were very friendly. Also, the hotel is somewhat further outside, but: by Tram its only few minutes, couldnt be easier! Also, i spend a night there during marathon weekend and the price was very convenient. The room was relatively large with lots of space and a modern bathroom

AustriaEverything was new and clean, there was a kitchen. Comfortable beds. Claudio was very friendly, answered all questions, gave us some tips. Location was also good, only 10 minutes walk to the underground. You also can use a bus to the underground , the bus stop is opposite the hotel. So from the hotel you need approximately 40 minutes to get to the Colosseum. Vatican is closer. There is a big supermarket nearby.

FranceMinor remark: it would have been good to have the instructions to use the digital door key. Although the host showed us previously, we had trouble trying to unlock the main door. Luckily, the host came to help us within only 10 mins. For future guests however, I believe it would be useful to have a small guide on how to use the digital door key.
It was a great stay! The room was spacious as shown on the pictures. It was impeccably clean, well decorated and well thought out. The host was fantastic and very welcoming. Free good quality coffee, tea and cookies provided. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking and the common area has a dedicated dining table for each room. The location is good. Only a short ride away from the city center by metro or bus (20-30 mins depending on location).

RomaniaI recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. I was surprised to see that there are only a couple of review here. The apartment is really cozy and stylish. We shared the living and the kitchen with other 2 rooms, but it still felt intimate and private. I loved the breakfast treats from the living room. Claudio (the host) was very kind and he sent us a gift for our couple anniversary. The place is also close to the bus and the subway and you can even walk to Vatican if you enjoy this kind of trip.

CanadaThere are only positive things I can say about my stay. I spent many hours looking for accommodations in Rome on the internet that were suitable to my budget. Do not waste your time - book this place ASAP. This is fairly priced and only a 20 minute bus ride into the centre of Rome. The place is even nicer than the pictures!
The room had two beds, one double and one single and were very comfortable. The accommodations were exceptionally clean and I appreciated that I could cook some of my own meals as I have dietary restrictions with gluten and sugar. We also were privy to the washing machine which was a great bonus. I felt truly blessed that I found this accommodation and Claudio the owner/ host went above and beyond my expectations with any requests we had. He is a true gentleman and really cares about his guest's comfort level.

Czech RepublicThere aren't many nice restaurants nearby. You have to go to the city center or a bit further, but it's not a big deal.
Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We encountered no issues whatsoever. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. Claudio, the host, was extremely friendly and always available by phone if we had any questions. The apartment consists of one main room (dining room) with a small shared kitchen offering complimentary snacks and coffee. From there, there are three separate guest rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. The building is conveniently located near the Vatican area. Within walking distance, you'll find multiple bus stops where you can catch a bus to central Rome (approximately 20-30 minutes to reach the city center). Without a doubt, I would choose to stay in the same place if I ever visit Rome again.

The apartament was very comfortable, very well equiped, calm and clean. We can drink delicious coffee and preapare meals on our own. Claudio was very helpful and kind. We will recommend this place to our friends who would like to visit Rome.

Anastasio Vatican Rooms is very close to Valle Aurelia metro station and two metro stops (or 15 min walk) from the Vatican City. It is nearby grocery shops and amazing restaurants. Claudio was an INCREDIBLE host! he was extremely accommodating and provided us with great recommendations on where to eat and get groceries. His friendly smile and demeanour made us feel right at home for our first visit in Rome. The property had delicious complimentary biscuits to accompany tea and coffee which could be made in our room or the shared kitchen space. The bedroom and en-suite is BEAUTIFUL! They are modern and exceptionally clean! We were provided with fresh towels and were offered to have our room cleaned during our stay - Claudio has thought of everything to make your stay a 10/10! Best accommodation in Rome by far! I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, clean and modern apartment that is close to public transport that takes you to all the beautiful sights in Rome!
