A little funky but really sweet spot in a great location. Large, comfortable room. Allessandro is a great host and serves a good breakfast. Good value and we would stay again.

Fantastic old apartment building in the perfect location in Trieste. Close to train/bus station, 10 minute walk. Big, high ceiling room with nice lighting and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom was clean, but the shower was pretty tiny! Decent breakfast included and very good coffee made by host Alessandro. Recommend!

Since not everyone has roaming data plans or even cell phones (especially those of us like myself who are seniors), it would be really helpful if he had tourist maps, but the tourist information isn't far away if that is needed.

At first, there was a mix-up which resulted in me having to wait in the stairwell until Alessandro the host/B&B owner made it back. (I only had wi-fi internet access and therefore didn't receive the email he sent explaining he was picking up groceries). Despite that small bump, his accommodations were spacious and clean and I had some great chats about Pink Floyd, 70s prog rock, Trieste history, and other topics. I really liked his place, which is in the downtown of Trieste, close to the key sites.

It would be great if there was be air-condition. This isn't really a minus and just a feedback as there isn't air condition listed in the object's description so we were aware there won't be any. But in hot days in July it would definitely improve the comfort of sleep if there was air-con. There was a fan but it was still very hot.

The apartment in Trieste was fantastic! The owner was really nice and provided great recommendations for food and what's worth visiting. The room was spacious, comfortable, and cleaned daily with towels provided. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee. Apartment has amazing location near the center that allowed us to simply walk to most of the spots, there's also big supermarket (Aldi) nearby if you need to buy some food/drinks. Additionally we arrived on motorcycle - there's a free parking for motorcycles/scooters right next to the apartment which was a great plus.

Breakfast in the café downstairs was excellent. Access to the property was extremely easy, arranged by telephone when I arrived. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. This was a lovely place to stay to explore this fascinating city, which has surprises at every turn.

Everything is great! The only thing is that it'd be good to have access to the kitchen. Not to cook, but to get a glass of water or put something in the fridge (when the weather is hot).

the wifi was on and off. A bit cold in the rooms, but it was freezing outside and it's an old house with very high ceiling, so actually really hard heat properly. (the heating was on)

Nice location between train/bus station and the lively city. Owner is a great host, friendly and breakfast is very good. I could also leave my bags before check-in which was very helpful. Bed is comfortable
