The warm breakfast was actually cold (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.). They offered rice milk but you can't warm it up for coffee, so you end up drinking cold coffee.

The location is amazing, really nice and comfortable rooms, and kind staff. Lot of gluten free option for breakfast, and wide variety of foods in the restaurant, too.

Wonderful hotel within easy walking distance of the lakeside and amenities. Great pool with bar & restaurant. Included breakfast was amazing particularly the Prosecco 😉

Our card didn't work so we couldn't enter our room for a while.

The hotel room was very spacious, definitely a good value for money. We didn't get to explore the surrounding areas much as we only stayed for 1 night, however the overall stay was pleasant as the room had all the facilities and even 2 balconies. The historic aspect of the buildings was beautiful.

breakfast was extensive but of fairly low quality have to wear swimming cap to use the pool quite a long walk to maderno port where restaurants are - around 20-30 mins round lakeside (pleasant but very hot in daytime)

Unusual set up - monastery hotel, campsite and Regina del Garda suite all share some facilities. you check in at the monastery hotel reception. Regina del Garda suite rooms are very nice in a brand new block, effective a/c. very short walk through campsite to beautiful beach. Campsite shop handy.

Strange policy where we chose to move elsewhere after 6 nights (booked for 9) we wanted to visit two differing areas of Lake Garda. Hotel tried to charge a penalty of 50% for the remaining three nights saying it was for modifying the stay rather than cancellation. Booking.com got involved and there seemed to be a 'disconnect' between their terms and the terms of the Hotel . In the end it was resolved in our favour and the penalty was waived. Just one to watch for , if you want flexibility perhaps make 2 or three booking of 2 or 3 days to ensure you don't get caught by the same policy.

All good, very nice clean apartment, modern decor, excellent facilities. plenty of good fresh food and courteous staff

I attempted to park 3 times in the car park and was only successful once. The second time I mistakenly parked in a resident spot having had to abandon the hotel car park and got a ticket. When you book a hotel because it has parking and only have a 33 percent success rate actually parking the car it's a little frustrating. The staff the third time were very helpful trying to find me a spot in a gated off overspill car park but it's not really the point. Next time if I want parking I will not come here unfortunately.

The room was very modern and clean the staff are all helpful and friendly.

The waiter was guarding the filtered water in the breakfast room and following the guests around the room..Water was available for sale only at minibar for 2€. Guests were permitted to drink filtered water only in the cafeteria, but not to fill up their bottles. The air conditioner was not working for 2 nights whole room was very hot and made it impossible to sleep.

Wi-Fi was rubbish or non existent in our room. Smoking needs to be better regulated where people eat. Preferably banned. Who can enjoy a great meal when others are poisoning you with smoke.

Everything, no coffee one morning, cement walk in our room which looked unfinished, safe did not work and they said they were too busy to help, you call this 4star, more like 2star, breakfast was a laugh and disgusting, rude staff, had to walk thru a campsite to go anywhere past people outside their tents, need I go on? Won't go there again and Def will not recommend it to anyone, shame, this was our 48th wedding anniversary 4 days, 4 days we had to endure this place🙃

There were little sparrows trying to get morsels of food at breakfast. More effort needed to keep them away from the buffet table, not hygienic. There were lots of them, not just one or two.

The breakfast was abundant, something for everyone! The staff friendly and helpful. I could park near my room, very convenient for loading and unloading. I liked being away from the main road.

When we arrived we were told that our room was overbooked and we could stay in another hotel for half the price but the other hotel didn‘t had the standard we wanted for our vacation. When we returned at the reception we were told that someone other cancelled their stay and we can have the room. As we could see, we haven’t been the only one who had the problem. Other one’s didn’t get their room eventhough they already payed in advance. The room was okay but the mattress was that hard like sleeping directly on the floor. The wifi wasn’t working.. The breakfast wasn‘t good at all except the bread. And the parking situation was horrible.. we needed to park our car outside the hotel and always needed someone from the reception to open the parking place which was only possible between 7am to 11pm. All in all we can‘t recommend the hotel! Unluckily..

The only thing what has been great was the location of the hotel. The beach was only five minutes away per feet.

The staff was not so prepared and gentle with the guests, except the director in the recpetion that was really kind and accountable.
