10min walk to volterra uphill, which was not bad as the walk was very scenic. Based on their photos, was expecting a terrace or better kitchen/dining area. Might have been my mistake, but at arrival was a little surprised to notice the discrepancy bw photos and the actual room.

Our coffee machine was broke on arrival and the host was not able to replace it during our stay of 4 nights. There was no initiative in the communication from the host. The sleeping couch is a bit uncomfortable. The kitchen is very small and only for easy cooking.

The villa was absolutely great, with beautiful rooms, a great and large balcony with a lovely view on the surroundings and a nice welcome by the host. The villa is situated closely to Volterra and easy to walk in 10 minutes. We loved the style of the house. The reception is nice and friendly with enough information.

Villa is a 10min walk up the hill to old town which isn't bad when wearther is nice but on rainy days we had to go up by car to park in the underground garage. Villa was a bit cold but that was quickly addressed by staff when asked to improve heating.

Beautiful historic villa, Patrizio and Inge were wonderful in making sure all our requests were met and super friendly and kind. They helped us organize cooking class and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Apartment was great for a family of 4 with separate rooms.

The host was very helpful and accommodating. He helped with directions and suggestions for restaurants. He is a very pleasant host. Also, the property gardens are beautiful.

The bed was a bit hard and the soundproofing of the windows was poor. High rooms could be decorated more uniformly in the spirit of the time.

The location is a 10-minute walk from the center and you can park your car in front of the villa. The room was as described.

Bathroom could use improvement. Window didn’t close entirely and they could have left us more toilet paper. Sofabed was fine but we ended up putting the mattress on the floor which was more comfortable as the springs squeaked a lot! The mattress was fantastic however so this worked well.

Villa was beautiful and well maintained, with lovely landscaping. The balcony provided beautiful views and it was any easy walk to Piazza dei Priori.

The property is old and has some creaks and noise at night. Can be disruptive to those who are light sleeper. Driving in and out can be challenging for those who are not experienced driving in small tight space.

Location is amazing and near the city center. Walkable distance. Our room (Alabastor) was nice and spacious with a small kitchenette area with all the dinnerware provided. The balcony was a nice added touch. Would have been great visiting in the late summer time when it is not too cold to sit out at night with a nice dinner and glass of wine.

We have no words to describe how great this place is! Authentic villa with history and Tuscan vibe! We get a huge apartment with awesome view from the balcony. It was nice and clean with comfortable bed and everything you need. There was a parking and the location is 5-10 minutes to city center. The hosts are great! Special thanks to Inge for the warm welcoming and for the information about the city and places to go!
