Everything was very nice, but this note is for people who want to sleep separately: We (two friends) booked a room with two beds, but only the double bed had sheets on it. They fixed the problem and told us we should have let them know ahead of time that we would be using the twin bed as well.

Terrific location near bus and train stations. Lots of shops and restaurants in area. Very large and comfortable room in super quiet building. Appreciated the late check-in and coffee/tea/fridge in our room.

The train station was only a few hundred yards from the hotel. The building was nicely renovated and is beautiful. There is a 2000 year old well in the lobby. The room was nice and bathroom was great. The owners were very nice. Very secure place with key fob locks. We would go back..

What a wonderful place and with a really friendly and helpful owner. Location is close to the central station and while it is located in a busy area, the rooms are so quiet. There is a large TV in each room and the owner provided a welcome breakfast on our first day. 10/10 😊

Perfect Location , very central both to transport, sea area and historical centre. Our room ( red) was comfortable, spotless and welcoming. Fabulous, loads of space, dining area, great fridge and the master room separated from single sleeping area which was very good in terms of privacy. Great walking proximity to cafes, shops, transport (train and bus), landmarks, very safe. Warm and friendly welcome. Our hosts took the time to welcome us and introduce the city, and likewise on our check-out, our farewell was heartfelt with good wishes to oncoming journey. Highly recommended.

Building is from 17-th century. Inside the hotel it's like traveling back in time. All the furniture is perfectly matched with the hotel style. The bed is very comfortable. The room has a fridge, a kettle and a capsule coffee machine. So we had the opportunity to drink tasty coffee in the morning. The center is a 10-min walk away. All was good!

The room is a five minute walk from the Central train station and about 10 minute walk to the centre of the town. The accommodation is in a 1786 building beautifully restored, is on the first floor with 2 set of steps to give you access to the facility. The bus number 6, which goes to the Castello Montamara which is a highlight of Trieste. The room has a wonderful bathroom, bedroom with extra space including a desk and a couple of chairs, as well as a separate area for storage and fridge. It has very beautiful tiles, which are very unique. It is also very good value with a lovely owner - Fluvian, who greeted us at midnight, as our flight was delayed by 3 hours. It is also really good value.

Rather on the cold side at night and no extra blankets available in the property - admittedly this was in the middle of January but some extra covers would have been welcome.

Comfortably appointed with very good facilities; a charming and friendly host who provides excellent advice on how to make the most of your time in Trieste with very helpful personal recommendations. Very quiet at night despite being right in the centre of the city.

The hotel is perfectly located to visit Trieste on foot. Most places of interest (cafés and restaurants) are accessible on foot. We had a big family room (2 rooms in one studio actually), decorated with taste and with all the expected comfort. We had a great stay. The hotel could offer a breakfast option but there are many cafés nearby.
