It was hot but we were lucky to have air-conditioning, lifts and beach access

The minute we arrived Stefano and his family treated us so well and helped us with booking boat cruises and taxi's. The breakfast was delicious and we got to try and assortment of home made jams. The location was perfect with only a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, bars, shops and gelatos all on the old part of the town so it had a great atmosphere and energy at night

Nothing really. The room was a little small, but that is what we booked.

Apart from the fact that the Mangano family members are perfect hosts, the place is simply wonderfully located (2 minutes walking from my conference venue! 5 minutes away from the Piazza Duomo! 5 minutes away from a very nice beach!) in a charming and peaceful little alley. Breakfast is served in a very practical and environmentally friendly manner in the dining area on the roof terrace which has a charming view. Our luggage did not arrive with us, but the receptionist very sympathetically tried his utmost best to assist by phoning the Catania airport. The Manganos are a very caring family. They work extremely hard to offer quality and friendly service. Thanks to Cinzia, Maurizio, Stefano, and Flavia!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Our host was friendly and generous, the bed was plush and very comfortable and we were right in the heart of the fascinating and historical Ortega. The roof top breakfast buffet was also terrific. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful about any of our inquiries. The breakfast was delicious with all the coffee you wanted, fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants with homemade jams - and a lovely terrace with a view to enjoy breakfast. The location was the best - right in the heart of the historic center, walkable to the Duomo, shopping and restaurants.

Located in a typical laneway, next to an Osteria and a short walk to Fonte Aretusa. Don't be fooled by the exterior as the rooms are modern and well-designed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.. Breakfast on the small terrace is plentiful and varied. We would happily return.

We loved eating our breakfasts on the rooftop - everything we ordered was served including extra coffees and delicious homemade jams. The room was very clean and sunny. The staff was wonderful. Stefano and Antonio were pure delights. Both were very helpful and interesting to talk to. Stefano recommended 3 excellent restaurants for us to have dinner - and guided us to stores to buy gifts for our family. He even helped us when we wound up in the wrong arrival area which could have been a disaster. But thanks to him - it wasn't.

The owners. Oh my goodness, so friendly, welcoming and everything . Made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace, home made jam too and freshly squeezed local orange juice. Senza glutein options too. Comfy beds and pillows. In the heart of town but not too noisy. Thank you Stefano and you family. we will be back.

The day we arrived in Syracuse it was a holiday! It was a bit of a challenge driving into town as it was very busy with everyone in the street celebrating their Labor Day holiday. We were informed ahead of time by the B&B that the parking lot for our car would not open until 4pm, so that is when we arrived. The hotel staff was so nice to meet us in town by the fountain to help us unload our luggage. Being a holiday we were able to enjoy the band they had playing in town and do some dancing! The Breakfast was nice, you had to choose the day before what items you wanted and the time and We sat on the patio for breakfast. The owners and staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was nice and decent size. The B&B was very close to the town. We walked everywhere and left our car in the parking lot until we left!

This is an amazing hotel in the heart of Ortigia. The staff is very helpful, nice and welcoming. The room is clean, comfortable and charming. The breakfast was the most pleasant part of our stay. So delicious and variery. It was served at the big terrace with beautiful sea view.
