I didn’t love the noise from the restaurant on a Saturday night right outside our bedroom window, but it was fairly harmless.

The property was beautifully situated in a remarkable and unforgettable location overlooking the ocean. There were two large terraces upon which to luxuriate overlooking the water. It was extraordinarily romantic and comfortable, and we were well looked after by the kind and helpful staff. The location is remote, but it’s just steps from the Ginostra ferry and it’s a place I shall always remember.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. The city of Rinella is nice and cozy but also very quiet - especially outside of peak season.

The location and the views are incredible, the staff is welcoming and friendly and the rooms/facilities are beautiful and clean! We had an amazing stay!

There was a mixup with our room (not their fault), however Leticia went out of her way to not only do her best to rectify the problem, but to make sure our stay was exceptional. The room was very small and there was a distinct lack of thought of storage design for travellers. It’s lovely to be minimalist in certain aspects but when a room is so small, there could be clever tricks to accommodate. No space in the showe cubicle whatsoever. I’m a small person and could just about get in and manage to wash in there ! Pretty remote to rest of island if you don’t have a car, but we were aware of this on booking.

Cleanliness Staff tried very hard to help with our requests but communication wasn’t the best so things got misunderstood. Staff were friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel L’Ariana which began with being collected at the port of Rinella and being transported to the hotel where we were greeted with much needed bottles of water! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with complimentary refreshments in the mini fridge and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The patio off our bedroom was also very convenient. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and courteous. Breakfast overlooking the sea in the adjacent Grotto restaurant was a daily highlight. The hotel has an expansive terrace with direct and private access to the sea.

Stupendous location. Absolutely lovely with direct access to the see which is clear and warm. Staff was professional and carrying, helped us even after our stay has ended and we had complete access to the amenities. the adjacent restaurant and bars are smashing!

Absolutely nothing

The location and the view was outstanding. Our room was beautiful and very well furnished with a lovely terrace complete with excellent sun beds and parasol. The restaurant was lovely with an amazing view and the dinner and breakfast both exceptional. The staff were so very helpful and we can’t wait to return

The staff was super friendly and helpful they organized the transports for us and we could stay in our room even after check out time till the ferry departed. The room was perfectly clean and the nicest hotel room we had In Sicily. each day we would get a new set of waters in the mini bar. Free of charge. They gave us towels for the beach, free of charge. The breakfast is included and served on the terrace of the restaurant next door with the most beautiful ocean view. They even serve granita with panna and brioche. Loved it. All in all a perfect stay, we‘ll definitely come back!

Nothing I didn't like!

We were two friends, female, staying for 3 nights at Hotel L'Ariana. Alessio was a great host and very helpful for two first time travellers to Salina and Sicily, with very basic Italian language skills. The room was great, we were upgraded to have a sea view which was perfect. Even though you're right by the ferry port there's not much noise at all. The hotel has a private beach which was clean and easily accessible. Getting to the water is fine if you're a confident beach go-er/swimmer, if not, the public beach is just next door which is easier. The restaurant next door was great, it was the same location for breakfast. Each time we went the service was perfect and super friendly. They accommodated for my friend who was vegetarian, making a personal dish for her when she couldn't eat anything on the menu. The dishes I had were all really delicious, I'd definitely recommend it for any sea food lovers.

The hotel L'Ariana ISOLE EOLIE in Salina Island, port Rinella, is a perfect place to stay on Eolie islands. What at amazing experience! I had the best Birthday ever. We got an upgraded to the room with a terrace with sea view. Clean, perfect location, amazing customer service. Next to the sea, clear water. Each rooms have slippers and robe provided. Breakfast has the best pastries. Room was very comfortable.

Alessio, who helped us throughout our stay, was incredible. He booked a lot of great activities for us, had superb recommendations and was overall extremely friendly. The hotel is in an amazing location: right by the sea, with the sound of the waves to fall asleep to, and the view on the open sea. Rinella is truly magnificent, so much nature to see around, such a special place, we loved it.
