1.No kettle in the room to prepare hot drink. 2. The control of the non- diversified breakfast by servicepeople was unappropriate. They had to leave food ingredients freely on the table and not sending servicewoman to filter out and ask the guests what someone wants from the limited ingredients they offer.it is excessive supervision.

I was expecting a better breakfast, but maybe my expections were a little high.

There wasn’t anything we did not like.

Asterias Residence is a newer, recently updated building. Very tastefully decorated. Great location! Minutes, by foot, from the sea and centro. We stayed in a studio apartment. Great size, well-stocked with kitchen and bath items. Even a small laundry rack was provided for swimsuits! Bed was comfortable. We appreciated that breakfast was provided despite having a kitchenette available in the studio. Really nice touch to have a bar available outdoors, as well as a pool. All of the staff were great and made themselves available for anything needed by their guests. We checked out very early and Tommaso provided us with caffè and cornetti before our departure. All of these touches made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Asterias Residence.

A little downside, they are not speaking much of English, but much more than anybody in the whole area of Pizzo 😁, but you will make it and get all necessary Information and recommendations from them :)

​More than a perfect accommodation, one of the best in it's category, where we ever stayed. All the compliments to the owner, family and his stuff! The location of Asterias Residence is on the perfect spot, 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach, 5 minute walk to the charming city center of Pizzo, where we have landed totally randomly and where we will come back very gladly. When we come back, that will be for sure to Asterias again! Extremely clean, cozy, big comfortable apartment with a little kitchen, modern equipped, air-condition included with no additional cost. Nice bar in the backyard, little pool and parking space. The breakfast was good and tasty, but you should know - only sweet breakfast, no salty. Coffee is one of the best I ever had!

We have stayed here twice in the past 2 years on our route to Sicily. This is a family run business & they place great attention to detail in everything they do. Really friendly, spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast with plenty of selection (best croissants ever!) lovely swimming pool to relax in after a days driving. Cannot fault it. Will stay again for sure.

The room was small but very good for our stay of 2 nights. We went there for a short stopover. The people were all very friendly and helpful. The garden is really nice and the breakfast was good as well.
