Armando is a host with body, soul and heart. The large terrace offers a view of the sea, the rooms have everything you need (including coffee, care products...) and - which is absolutely brilliant in February - heating. It was the perfect stay and we will book with Armando again next time. Without a car, you shouldn't mind having to walk a bit.

Don't remember anything we dislike.

Armando is a nice man, he met us and explained everything about the trip to Mt. Etna. The next morning he came to prepare a nice breakfast for us and we enjoyed the view from the balcony in the dining room. The house is very big, we had 2 rooms, 2 baths and the kitchen for our family of 5 people. Inside the rooms there was a heater to warm the air, tea and coffee, even slippers.

Armando is great. Very helpful, friendly. Our room was small, but we just slept there anyway. In addition, there is a kitchen and a terrace. As we were in low season we had the bathroom to ourselves, but I think it would have been shared otherwise. The house is on the upper edge of the village, it has a large terrace with a great view. The room was clean and has heating and air conditioning. Free street parking. Breakfast was good, especially the home baked vegetable scones. Armando makes excellent coffee. We had great homemade yogurt and tangerine jam, about three kinds of sweet cakes, coffee, juice... But we are used to eggs, ham and cheese, we missed that a bit. Armando is happy to help with planning. A very nice stay indeed.

It was our best stay in Sicily, we made a mistake when we booked only one night at Armando's Home. If we ever return to Sicily, we will make sure to stay in this place for a longer period of time.The room and the bathroom was big and comfortable. The terassa is great and the view from here was amazing . Parking is free in front of the house and on the street. Armando took care of us during our entire stay and made us the best breakfast in Sicily. Thank You, Armando! Our best wishes!!!

We wish we could have stayed longer

Armando's enormous hospitality and charisma was a true highlight of our stay. His passion for his region and culture was absolutely inspiring and helped us to learn more about Sicily. The house was stylish and well-maintained with a beautuful big terrace (offering a lovely panorama!) that was a wonderful extension of the indoor space, perfect for relaxation. Armando was not only a great host, but also an amazing chef. Breakfast was simply amazing, tasty and fresh, we loved that he used local and seasonal ingredients from his garden to make it. We would highly recommend staying at At Armando's Home to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Sicily. Everything! Armando is a super host (and super chef!), The room (and bed) was big and comfortable in a quiet location (with a great view), 30 min or so from Rifugio Sapienza, so excellent to hike around Etna or do excursions. Breakfast was the best we had all trip, and all hand made with local products! Just watch out to not have too much if you're going to climb Etna afterwards :)

Armando might be the most wonderful person in Italy. The house is lovely, great views across the Ionian Sea to Calabria. A comfy living area to lounge in. A cozy kitchen to have a caffè and chat with Armando. We went trekking on Etna, toured around the mountain, and had apertivi in Taormina. His house is located near everything. He’s a real gem, full of interesting ideas about what to do and where to eat. We were sad to leave

Armando is probably the nicest host we've ever had. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit, while being super kind and welcoming. For breakfast he baked and cooked an incredible menu and even gave us food to take for our journey. The flat is pretty and very clean with an incredible view to the meditaranian sea. Really, it's a no brainer to stay there if you want to visit etna, since by car you only need like 30min to refugio sapienza. Armando, big hug.

The owner (Armando) is the good spirit of this place. He is very nice person, who knows the region and can give you many advices.Also his breakfast is home made and in one word - fabulous! The room was clean and the bathroom roomy. The view from the dining room is also great! As we were here in January, we also appreciated the functional heating system, what is not common in the Sicilly.

Armando is a great host with big heart – helpful with advice on what to see around and how to get there. He even found walking boots my size for the Etna tour as I didn’t have ones with me. Although the furniture in the room is a bit old-fashioned, it was cosy, with a fridge. The biggest advantage was a terrace with a great view. And what others wrote in their reviews is true – the breakfast is extraordinary. He makes his cakes and pastry, jams and yoghurt. I and my husband really enjoyed three nights at Armando’s.
