Beautiful view over the water. Lovely to step out of the hotel and walk along the bay towards the Arsenale, away from the crowds. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Many good restaurants near by and very good value compared to other hotels in Venice.

Carpets were very old and crimped/folded in several areas. Pictures show a table on the balcony, but the balcony is really tiny and a table does not fit out there. Can be noisy since there are lots of people that walk in front of the building and we were on the first floor.

During the day, it was busy and noisy at the front of the hotel with day trippers and market stalls, although that didn't concern us it might not suit everyone.

Conveniently located close to St. Marks Square and attractions. Great view of the Grand Canal from the room. Breakfast was served in the room, and we were able to make our selection when we arrived for the following day. Plenty of choice and delivered to the room at the time we requested. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, responsive to emails before we arrived and provided information about the hotel, location and transportation options so we were prepared. Couldn't fault anything.

1) Shower is very weak, it doesn’t have any power to it. The shower is also on the small side (getting in and out). I am 5/6 months pregnant and found it a bit difficult navigating it. 2) If you are staying outside of the Summer and it’s hot, they don’t (can’t?) put the A/C on. We had a really warm weekend for the time of year (April) and found the room to be a bit uncomfortable. We were provided with a fan which did help. 3) The room is too light in the morning, as the middle part of the room has a window without curtains. I would recommend taking an eye mask.

Everything was ok.

We arrived before check in time and they had the room ready. The room was smaller than what we expected, however I had requested a room with a balcony as we were celebrating a special event and they gave us what we requested. The mini bar was stocked and the room was very clean. Location was excellent, there is a water bus stop only couple of minutes walking and the square is just 5 minutes walk.

I didn’t like how they didn’t have enough personal hygiene. Everything is in one bottle. And the coffee was instant coffee.

The property was built in a very old construction and the room was pretty classic. I like it because I was fascinated with old room design and decoration.
