Fabulous location near all the activity in Ortigia including the markets. Many restaurant choices nearby and a great place to walk around Ortigia ftom. Car parking (free) right out front or paid carparking nearby. Beautiful room and facilities where you could watch the world go by from the balcony. Helpful host who recommended a fabulous place for a meal that she frequents. One of our best accommodation stops in the past five weeks in Italy.

Great location! Very easy to get access and the host(s) were extremely responsive. We even were treated with a pasta surprise!! We loved it here...lots of room and very happy to have a washing machine!!

The host was very helpful. The location was quiet, yet close to parking and a short walk to sights in Ortigia. Also, it was useful to have a washing machine.

Location was wonderful as was the bed. Our room had 2 terraces and was lovely at night with a glass of wine. Mauro was a wonderful host.

Perfectly situated on Ortigia Island, especially if you will have a car. There is a free car park across from the building but also paid lots nearby should it be full. We received clear instructions for check-in and were allowed to store our bags before our room was ready. Communication with the staff was always prompt and courteous. They really care about service and hospitality and surprised us with unexpected touches. The two-bedroom flat is really spacious, beautifully appointed and comfortable for long stays. WiFi was strong was reliable. Ortigia makes for an excellent base to explore southeastern Sicily. We loved our four nights here and would definitely return in the future!

No lift but it is only one flight of stairs so no bother. Can be noisily when other people walk about but did not bother us.

Perfect location, great staff and communication was great and to check in. Best free Italian lessons by Mauro 😀 Nice shower and room ambiance with free soft drinks minibar and few snacks. Expression coffee really nice. .it felt homely and the views from the balcony were stunning day and night. Free parking if you get a space on the square bit. Must not forget the best food at Caseificio Borderi for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend

There is some traffic and street noise from the square below the residence which may bother light sleepers. The 'sea view' from the Cathedral room is actually a very nice harbour view. The second balcony faces the building opposite.

The hosts and welcome are absolutely excellent. Friendly, charming, available - nothing was too much trouble and any answers we needed were more or less immediately provided. The location is perfect for exploring Ortigia and Syracuse with everything within easy walking distance. The historic centre is literally on your doorstep.

The building stairwell had a really loose bannister. But all else was perfect!

This apartment is wonderful! It is on the edge of Ortigia Island with great parking nearby and sea views and breezes. It's decorated nicely and is very spacious. We had our own temperature controls as well. It was very quiet and we never heard anyone else I. the other apartments. The location was terrific, we were able to walk everywhere. We slept well on the comfortable beds, the bathroom and kitchen were well equipped, they even have a washing machine /dryer combo, there was no elevator but its an easy walk up to the apartment. Mauro was super helpful , he met us at the car and got us upstairs and settled. He also gave us good local recommendations for restaurants which were great! I highly recommend Autenica Ortigia!

Excellent apartment! Prime location to visit Ortigia, and the nearby parking options. The room is both spacious and stylish, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Plus, the host’s excellent communication ensures a smooth stay. Highly recommended—I’d definitely book again!
