In my room(apartment), the toilet was quite small. But it can't be a problem for this place

This place can be represented as an exceptional view, which is all I wanted for Toscana. My family arrived there very late, so could spend time only in the morning. But if you stay here, you should arrive early and stay as long as possible. Because you don't have to move around to find the scenic view. You have that HERE right in front of the building. You can see Pienza to your right and have breakfast with the view of Toscana you dream of. There are tables and chairs placed. You won't get tired of it even if you stay all day or even a few days! My husband suggested to come back and stay there for the whole itenery. Well equipped, well furnished. Nice breskfast! My 8 year old son enjoyed the football table in a communal area. The picture doesn't get the real view. 100% clean and 100% comforable bed! 1000% recommend!

The walls are thin meaning you can hear the upstairs neighbors but that's of no fault of his. It was very hard not to fall in love with the property and it's views as it is serene and peaceful. Being surrounded but nature was beautiful!

Views, views, and more views!! You have an entire apartment to yourself with a functional kitchen and washer which came in handy after traveling for a week. Mr. Barbi was so sweet and very quick to respond with any questions or concerns, you can tell he genuinely love sharing his property and it shows with his hospitality.

Well, actually we liked very much everything, but if I have to find sth: 1. Remember you need a car to get around, but this is quite obvious. 2. Wifi is rather slow, ok for browsing and mails but not for streaming.

Perfect agroturismo with breath-taking views on Val d'Orcia, with several sunbeds and barbecue. Appartment was spacious and comfortable with more than we actually needed. Very good starting point to visit nearby places, starting with Pienza (!), Monticchiello (you can actually walk there), Montepulciano, and others. Vilmo is very friendly and helpful with full heart in his work, he gave us several hints. We especially liked wine from nearby winery, e-bikes in Pienza and Osteria La Porta.

what a wonderful view. can enjoy the real view of Tusacani. Just sitting ouside is enough to give 10 point to my stay. Also owner Barbi gives us every detail and help to stay and enjoy the region.

The property was centrally located to many different cities which made it very convenient to do day trips from the property. The views were amazing and the house was very comfortable and clean with all the supplies we needed if we wished to cook.

This place is less than six miles from Pienza and less than a mile from Monticchiello, two small hill towns you should enjoy exploring. It is a great location to use as home base to explore other hill towns in and near Tuscany, including Montepulciano, Sarteano, Cortona and Assisi. Our host, Vilmo Barbi, was quite charming and extremely proud of his farm. He is the third generation to actively work the farm. The building our apartment was in was over 100 years old.

Even the breakfast is prepared by myself with various bread , ham & cheese , it is good enough with kitchenette and manual juice crusher is so wonderful. So wonderful location to access all neighbor town and overlooking Pienza is just less than 10 min drive. As it is located in back road, in the night it has less noisy and feel tranquilize night life. And I enjoyed starry night. On the way back hom from Montepulciano, I could enjoy gorgeous sunset nearby Monticchiello & Barbi. Next time I would take a walk in some route of Val D'orcia and Francigena ..

I liked everything.

I stayed at Agroturismo Barbe for two nights in Septembre 2023 in a now bedroom appartment. The owner Vilmo welcomed me when I arrived and very quickly did the checkin. The appartment was superb ! It was clean, very well equipped (the kitchen had every possible appliance, very impressive). There was plenty of food in the fridge and in the kitchen for two breakfasts and even a lunch or two. The appartment was simply and tastefully furnished but very comfortable with everything I needed. The view was astounding and the area is very quiet. There is a garden with tables outside with a wonderful view of the Tuscan landscape and one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. I would be delighted to spend a week there in the future. Thanks a million !!!

The most beautiful view of the Pienza and the valley. Amazing. Our room was on the other side, so we didn't have the sun over, and it was very nice, not very hot, so we slept well. The breakfast included is really nice, you can eat what you feel like, salty or sweet.

They initially felt isolated as they didn’t have a car. Although family was nearby so they relaxed but also spent time away from the apartment.

This was booked for my elderly parents to attend our sons wedding locally. It was ideal for them and found their stay superb, with great facilities. Food was also provided. A great host.

Agriturismo Barbi was amazing! Beautiful, clean apartment with an incredible view. Vilmo was an excellent host. He welcomed us upon check in and was available if we had any questions througout our stay. The basket of food was a very nice touch so we could cook breakfast each morning before heading out for the day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Monticchiello.

The view is breathtaking. The host Vilmo is super nice and will give you plenty of tips. The location has such an abundance of places to see around that it is best to stay at least 3 nights, a week ideally. Go eat dinner at Daria restaurant nearby. Michelin quality. Highly recommended place and we will most likely come back in some time.
